• A Morality Clause in Brian Williams's Contract Will Determine His Fate at NBC

Brian Williams has always had the ability to tell a great story. It is one of the things that has endeared him to NBC viewers for the last decade. Williams would be sent out in the field to work, and then when he popped up as a guest on a late-night talk show, the stories would be epic. Now we know that his tales may not have been rooted in truth and it is that embellishment problem that has prompted NBC to suspend Williams for six months without pay. There is already a debate over whether or not he will ever return, and the fallen anchor's fate may be decided by a morality clause in his contract.

  • Janay and Ray Rice All Smiles While Celebrating His Birthday, Is the Worst Behind Them?

It has been a little while since we have heard anything about Ray and Janay Rice. The couple spent months grabbing headlines late last year because of an elevator surveillance tape that leaked. It showed him knocking out his wife cold with just one punch and it ultimately led to Ray being cut from the Baltimore Ravens. He legally can play in the NFL now but no teams have even expressed interest in signing him, yet. On the home front, the couple is at least trying to make it look like they are better than ever.
  • Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Are Quitting Reality Television

A new baby might not be the only thing Kourtney Kardashian is going to be celebrating. The reality star and her baby daddy Scott Disick are just about at the end of their three-year contract with E!, and rather than signing another deal the couple seems about ready to put reality television in their past.According to a new report by Radar Online, Kardashian is wise enough to realize that doing the show with her boyfriend since 2007 has actually caused a lot more fights than they would have had if every moment of their lives was not documented for the world to see. Sources say the couple has been over the whole reality TV thing, and the buzz that comes with it for quite awhile now, but they still had to ride out the end of their contracts.Perhaps if they walk away from the cameras and daily spotlight it will actually help Disick keep himself together. His battle with alcohol and pills was one of the main storylines on "Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons," the most recent reality show of theirs to wrap up on E! Disick was and still is grieving the loss of his parents while contending with the stress of a new baby, and if we have learned anything about this guy, it is that he cannot cope well.
  • Bill Cosby to Play Three Shows This Week in Canada in Spite of Mixed Reactions

While Bill Cosby may be having a hard time keeping his career going in the states right now, he will be doing a few of his stand up shows in Canada later this week. Many U.S. venues have either canceled shows that they had previously booked with the fallen star or else he has scrapped some scheduled gigs at the last minute. The end result has been the same, ever since women started to come forward and accuse Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them, he hasn't been very marketable.

  • NBC Signs Brian Williams to New, Long-Term Deal to Continue Anchoring 'Nightly News'

Head honchos at NBC News are breathing a bit easier after officially signing NBC's "Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams to a new, multi-year contract that is sure to keep him around the halls of 30 Rock for a long time to come. Williams first took over the anchor seat from the legendary Tom Brokaw in 2004 and has pretty much dominated the evening news race from Day 1. In recent months ABC's David Muir has begun to challenge him in the ratings race, but Williams seems to be taking the competition in stride.NBC News President Deborah Turness announced Williams's new deal in a memo, which read, "Brian is one of the most trusted journalists of our time. He has led this organization through every major news event for the last decade, from Hurricane Katrina in his first year in the anchor chair to his exclusive interview with Edward Snowden this year, through elections, wars, natural disasters, tragedies and triumphs. In all of those cases he's taken 'Nightly News's' viewers to the heart of the stories that matter most in a way that's uniquely his."
  • Ray Rice Insists He and Janay Rice Have Only Ever Had 'One Bad Night, It Just Happened to Be on Video'

Did you catch Ray Rice's interview with Matt Lauer yesterday on "Today"? The sit-down interview had actually been booked with Janay Rice, and it gave her an opportunity to finally speak about that horrific night in Atlantic City last February when Ray knocked her out cold in an elevator. The couple had been dealing with their issues semi-privately until the surveillance video went viral last September, and the fallout has been huge. Janay answered all sorts of questions about their relationship and insisted that her now-husband has never laid a finger on her other than this one time. Supposedly, Ray came home near the end of her interview and decided to appear on camera.Perhaps NBC thought it would feel more impromptu and less strategically planned if Lauer talked to the couple while standing in their kitchen. Once they all settled in around the island, Rice insisted that they have only had this one bad night together, and unfortunately there is video to document it. He also claims that working is not his biggest concern right now.Ray told Lauer:"The big deal is for me to always protect her, and that's why I said I take full responsibility. She can do no wrong. This is something, you know, as a man you have to own and, we're horribly sorry, and I'm horribly sorry for everything that I have to put my family through. I still got to live every day, go take my daughter to school. She's going to grow up and the way the Internet works now she's going to Google her father's name and the first thing that's going to come up is, you know what's going to come up."
  • Ray Rice Hit the Clubs in NYC to Celebrate Having His NFL Suspension Lifted

Rice was spotted hitting up Bounce Sporting Club in New York City late Saturday night. The fallen NFL star stayed chatting and chilling with fans until the wee hours of Sunday morning. According to a TMZ report, security attempted to keep the fans from bothering Rice, but he was loving the attention. Rumor has it his wife Janay Rice was also with him, but that has yet to be confirmed. We can tell you with certainty that Janay's interview with "Today's" Matt Lauer these past two days has been seen in part by nearly everyone. This morning's installment included Ray taking part in the interview while standing at a kitchen counter with Janay and her parents. He, of course, apologized for knocking his wife out last February in Atlantic City after a night of hard partying. He believes that therapy has really helped him and claims he is ready to sacrifice whatever is necessary to take care of his wife.
  • Ray Rice's Suspension from NFL Lifted as 'Today' Prepares to Air Interview with Janay Palmer Rice Next Week

Ray Rice finally won the war to preserve his career on Friday, and his suspension from the NFL has been lifted, effective immediately. That means that if Rice can find a team willing to sign his this late in the season he may actually get some play time in before the next Super Bowl. Back in early September an elevator surveillance video was released that showed Rice knocking his now-wife, Janay Palmer, out cold with one punch, then dragging her off the elevator. He was handed an indefinite suspension after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell seemed to barely offer up a slap on the wrist last spring.
