• Seven Singers Who Should Be Replacing Kurt Cobain: PJ Harvey, Lemmy, and more

At tonight's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the surviving members of Nirvana will be performing with Joan Jett on lead vocals. Jett will probably do a fine job, but I doubt that she was their first choice to replace Kurt Cobain for the night. Here are seven singers who should have at least been considered to sing for Nirvana at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
  • Courtney Love backtracks on Hole reunion, rejects Yoko Ono comparisons in new interview

In honor of the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death and the induction of Nirvana into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Telegraph sat down with Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, to discuss Nirvana's legacy and her role in the band's history. They also covered topics such as the Broadway musical about Cobain, her comparison to Yoko Ono, her ghostwritten biography and the reunion of her band Hole, among other things. Here's what we learned:
  • Fall Out Boy defend Courtney Love's search for missing Malaysian Airline plane

The Internet loves to make fun of people, so when Courtney Love attempted to work out what happened to the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, everyone was armed with jokes aimed at the singer. But Fallout Boy's Patrick Stump has stepped up to defend Love, who collaborated with Fall Out Boy on the band's 2013 album, Save Rock And Roll.
  • Throwback Thursday: 'Violet' by Hole

The biggest day in the footballs is right around the corner... the Super Bowl. The 2014 edition of the American tradition will see the Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks. The music of Denver... not so well established. There's OneRepublic (kind of), India.Arie (ish... she was born there) and a few other acts, but the city has no distinct sound. Seattle, on the other hand, has been the birthplace of hard rock for over two decades, most notably grunge, which as we all know, rose in 1991 like a black hole sun all thanks to Nirvana. But, we know enough about Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. Instead, for this week's Throwback Thursday, let's look a little to the left of those guys at Hole.
  • Courtney Love not liable for defamation against former lawyer in Twitter case

A jury has found Courtney Love not liable of defamation in a lawsuit brought against her by her former lawyer, Rhonda Holmes. Holmes had accused Love of making false statement about her on Twitter, which suggested that Holmes was "bought off" when she refused to represent Love against the managers of Kurt Cobain's estate. She filed the suit in May of 2011, almost a year after the initial offending Tweet.
