"Love & Hip Hop New York" commemorated Memorial Day weekend with a live televised wedding of cast members Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris and about five minutes after the special aired, a former cast member took to social media to lash out. Erica Mena recently left the show and threw shade at Harris for getting special treatment and also insinuated that her wedding was a joke. Mena is currently engaged to Shad Moss and insists that her own wedding won't be devalued by reality television. Harris took a minute to enjoy her newlywed status before addressing Mena's comments. -
Erica Mena Throws Shade at Yandy and Mendeecees 'LHHNY' Live Wedding Ceremony
A lot of Love & Hip Hop NY fans were surprised to learn that Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris were going to go through with their live wedding ceremony over Memorial Day weekend. It was kind of their last hurrah as a couple before Harris is formally sentenced in August for being part of a drug ring. It is expected that he will be going away for years, leaving Smith behind to care for three kids pretty much on her own. The wedding itself was intended to be like a modern fairy tale so leave it to former cast mate, Erica Mena to find a way to get some shade in there. -
Jhonni Blaze Reportedly Arrested at 'L&HH' Reunion Taping for Punching Cameraman
Jhonni Blaze made quite an impression on the most recent season of Love & Hip Hop NYC, didn't she?Her arrival came at the perfect time too since Erica Mena has confirmed that she is finished with the franchise. In previous seasons it was Mena who was always fighting and getting herself into trouble and it looks like Blaze is more than ready to replace her by bringing some serious drama to the show. Blaze describes herself as a hot head and one of the reasons for her being a breakout star is because she can go from 0-100 in about 2 seconds. That said, I don't think anyone expected Blaze to be on her best behavior at the recently filmed, L&HH reunion and she totally freaked out pretty fast. -
'L&HH' Season 5 Reunion Preview - Does Jhonni Blaze Still Love Rich Dollaz?
Season five of "Love & Hip Hop NYC" has been just about as explosive as we anticipated and there seems to be an awful lot of unfinished business being carried into the reunion, doesn't there? Peter Gunz has been vacillating between Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace for years, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees just had a new baby and Erica Mena, once the center of the show, now confirms her exit. That's just for starters. Then there was Jhonni Blaze who, although brand new to the show, has already made a lasting impression. -
Erica Mena Parts Ways with 'Love & Hip-Hop' After 4 Years, Pens Open Letter to Fans

'LHH' Erica Mena Talks Marriage and Babies With Bow Wow
Erica Mena is a major reason why people tune in to watch "Love & Hip Hop" on VH1. She is a walking combo platter of tough-talking chick and somewhat broken little girl all in one, and watching Mena in action on "LHH" never gets old. The current season is showing her split from Cyn Santana, but in reality it is a relationship that ended a while ago and she has not only moved on but is planning a wedding to and babies with Bow Wow that is scheduled for this coming April. When the couple got together, things seemed to move really fast, but in a recent interview Mena is reminding fans that real time and edited reality TV are not one and the same. -
'Love & Hip Hop NYC's' Tahiry Jose Still Recovering from NYFW Attack
Love & Hip Hop NYC returned to VH1 a few weeks ago with Tahiry Jose still in the mix. She has dated Joe Budden on and off for years and while they are currently off, that doesn't mean that Jose has been drama-free. She was physically attacked last September and just this past week her assailant, Charles Suggs got off pretty easy in a Manhattan court room. -
Erica Mena Leaving 'Love & Hip Hop New York' for a Spinoff with Bow Wow
Is Erica Mena one of the reasons you tune in to "Love & Hip Hop New York" each week? If so, then you will likely be sad to know that the reality star has confirmed that this will be her last season on the show. Life has radically changed for Mena in the last year, as she went from being a loose cannon living with girlfriend Cyn Santana to happily engaged to Shad Moss, aka Bow Wow. It is also looking like there is a good chance that these two will be getting a new reality spinoff show.Mena recently did an interview on New York City's WPIX and teased that a new show was a possibility. Let's be real here: Mena needs to make that paper somehow, and it seems kind of unlikely that she would give up her spot on "Love & Hip Hop" without another gig lined up. Sources also seem to think that her wedding, currently planned for April, is likely to be filmed by VH1 as well. -
