Desperate times call for desperate measures, and it sounds like Teresa Giudice is willing to do anything to postpone her 15-month jail stay. The star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has admitted that since being sentenced that her husband, Joe Giudice, has a drinking problem. In fact, his defense team tried to use his addiction to try and sway the judge toward sending him to rehab rather than jail for his string of financial crimes. That did not work, but now Teresa has found a way for her husband's battle with booze to actually help her.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa is supposedly pushing hard for Joe to check himself into a rehab facility ahead of her Jan. 5 surrender date. Apparently, she is hoping that if Joe were to go to rehab, then her attorney could petition the court to change her surrender date. The judge in this case has said she does not want the Giudices's four daughters to be left at home without a parent, so she probably would be willing to change Teresa's date if her husband were to decide to get help. -
'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Is Wasting Away as Her Incarceration Date Gets Closer
When Teresa Giudice was sentenced to prison along with her husband Joe in early October, the judge thought she was being kind by allowing Teresa to report to a prison camp Jan. 5. Those few extra months of freedom meant both parents would be able to spend maybe their last holiday season together with their four daughters. While "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" couple has tried to publicly present a united front, the truth of the matter is that behind the scenes they are falling apart.Joe used his alcoholism as a way to try and get out of jail time, as his attorney made a plea for him to go to rehab rather than prison. That attempt failed and Joe's actions since being convicted are hardly that of a man looking to get sober. Instead, multiple sources close to the family have said he is out at the bars daily, and Teresa is not doing much better.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa is barely eating anything at all and has lost 11 pounds in the last month. Friends claim she lives on coffee, wine and a few nibbles here and there because she is super stressed about going to jail. While she has not yet said it out loud, Teresa has to be, on some level, concerned about leaving her kids with a man who cannot stay sober. She likely never really believed that she would go to prison for the few counts of fraud she pled guilty to. If she did entertain even the notion, it was probably something that was, in her mind, years away — after Joe finished serving his time. -
'Love & Hip Hop's' Moniece Slaughter Accused of Bilking NBA Star Joe Smith Out of More Than $100K
"Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" would be really boring if everyone kept their noses clean, right? I am sure VH1 runs like a well-oiled machine on that belief, so every time one of its stars catches a negative headline, the execs must see extra dollar signs. This time around, it is Moniece Slaughter who is making waves. Sure, she has been known to have some violent tendencies on camera, but now an ex is accusing Slaughter of bilking him out of $109,000.According to a report by TMZ, former NBA star Joe Smith has filed a police report alleging that Slaughter wrote nine checks between October 2011 and March 2012 to a man named Timothy Clayton Carr. Smith claims not to know Carr and says he never wrote the checks either. Carr claims he cashed the checks for Slaughter because she said she did not have a bank account to do so herself. At least, that is what he told police in June 2012. Carr also claims not to have known that there was any issue at all until the final check he cashed for Slaughter ended up being canceled. -
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Headed for a Split After Sharing All of Their Marital Problems on 'True Tori'
It has been nearly a year since Tori Spelling caught her husband of eight years, Dean McDermott, cheating on her with a woman named Emily Goodhand. Rather than buckle down and work together to try and resolve the multitude of problems that exist between them, Spelling instead decided to use their messy marriage as the foundation for a new reality show "True Tori." Viewers have watched as, week after week, Spelling has painted her husband as a villain. The on-camera meltdowns have often happened in front of their children, leaving many to think a split might be in everyone's best interest. Now it looks like that might be the only option left for these two.Instead of realizing just how badly the first season of "True Tori" really was and that it was not helping her marriage, Spelling rallied for a second season. A few weeks ago, McDermott said he is finished ripping open his veins for the sake of reality television, but by the time he finally reached that conclusion it might have already been too late to salvage things. -
Bravo Hoping to Save 'RHONJ' after Teresa Giudice Leaves by Bringing Back Caroline Manzo
Can Caroline Manzo save "The Real Housewives of New Jersey"? The Italian mom had enough of the crazy chaos and opted not to do season six of the reality show that just finished airing this week. Bravo gave her family their own spin off show, "Manzo'd with Children" that did even better than the network had hoped, solidifying what they already knew, Manzo has a huge fan base. That's something that could come in serious handy if RHONJ has any hope of returning for a seventh season, especially since Teresa Giudice will be reporting to a Connecticut prison camp in less than two months. -
'RHOA's' Apollo Nida Sent Phaedra Parks Hate Mail From Prison As Divorce Can't Come Fast Enough
Apollo Nida has hardly tried to hide his overwhelming dislike of almost ex-wife, Phaedra Parks. Fans of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" have watched as the couple married, had two sons and then abruptly crashed and burned. Nida was arrested for a slew of financial crimes including Identity theft and bank fraud last January and that was the beginning of the end for these two. To be fair, Nida was an ex-con when Parks married him several years ago, so she had a bit of an idea what he was capable of. -
'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Is Spending Her Last Days of Freedom Partying with Friends, Not at Home with Her Four Daughters
Teresa Giudice must feel like the walls are closing in around her. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has to report to a Connecticut prison camp Jan. 5 to begin serving a 15-month sentence, according to TMZ, after pleading guilty to multiple counts of fraud. While she has been publicly selling the idea of keeping her family rock-solid and united through this crisis, behind closed doors it has been quite the opposite. We have already told you that Joe Giudice, Teresa's husband, is rarely home. Instead, he has been spotted out on a daily basis with his crew of drinking buddies, drowning his sorrows. After Teresa finishes serving her sentence, then it will be Joe's turn to spend nearly four years behind bars, after which he will likely be deported back to Italy.Their days living under the same roof as a family are clearly numbered, and it is likely that once Teresa is released from jail she will file for divorce from Joe once and for all. While she claims to be spending every moment with her four daughters, sources close to the reality star are telling a different story: Apparently she is spending her last days of freedom partying with friends instead of being at home with her four daughters.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa has been spotted out almost every night with her friends. Fresco is the Montclair, New Jersey, eatery that has confirmed that the "RHONJ" star often comes in for dinner with friends and no kids. -
'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Had a Glam Squad to Make Her Look Great for Court Sentencing Thanks to a Loan From 'Just Desserts'
While Teresa Giudice stood up in court in early October and apologized for her fraudulent behavior and insisted that she is ready to live a more conservative lifestyle, that certainly wasn't the case in the days leading up to her sentencing. Instead we have learned that "The Real Housewive's of New Jersey" star borrowed $50,000 from Just Desserts, the company that was responsible for marketing the stars' now-defunct gelato bars. -
'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Is Presenting a United Family Front but Her Husband Joe Is Reportedly Out Drinking with Friends, Avoiding Being at Home
Teresa Giudice has spent years turning her family into a money-making brand only to lose it all because of her purposeful deception. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star got the shock of a lifetime last month when not only was she sentenced to 15 months in prison, but she also learned that she would have to serve her time before her shady husband Joe Giudice serves his. Teresa now has to turn herself in to authorities Jan. 5 and she has purposely devoted the weeks leading up to that date to her family, putting up a unified front. Unfortunately, Joe is not exactly on the same page.Joe intentionally involved his wife in all of his fraudulent business dealings, but he is not exactly being supportive to her or their four kids at all right now. According to a "Radar Online" report, Joe's admitted alcoholism has gotten considerably worse since sentencing: He is reportedly drinking with friends and avoiding being at home. -

Matt Barnes Split from 'Basketball Wives LA's' Gloria Govan Isn't Amicable after She Forged His Signature on Loan Documents
We told you a few weeks ago that "Basketball Wives L.A." star Gloria Govan had recently split from Matt Barnes over "trust issues." Naturally, everyone initially assumed there must have been some infidelity — again — but that notion went out the window pretty quickly when it was learned that Govan reportedly forged her husbands' signature on legal documents to secure a loan for $150,000. The kicker? Barnes found out when Nina Rawls decided to sue the couple for non-payment. -
'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Infuriates Her Husband Joe Giudice by Dropping $10,000 on a Music Video for Her Daughter Gia's Girl Group '3KT'
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" Teresa Giudice is just several weeks away from reporting to a Connecticut prison camp after pleading guilty to a string of financial crimes. She is also currently $13.5 million in debt, but none of that mattered when it was time to bank roll her 13-year-old daughter Gia Guidice's music video. Apparently, Gia and her two besties have formed a girl group called 3KT and they not only remade Britney Spears's hit song "Circus," but decided they needed a cool video to go along with it. Teresa dropped the $10,000 completely against her husband Joe Giudice's wishes.
