The first festival on the UMF calendar is Ultra South Africa, set to take place next month from Feb. 13 to 14. The festival has announced who will be joining the already-unveiled headliners on the bill that include Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Axwell / Ingrosso. Now the festival has completed the lineup with its final batch of headliners and local acts that will feature Gorgon City, Oliver Heldens and DVBBS.There have been a whole host of local acts added to the lineup as well to keep the festival as authentic as possible and to make it not seem like outsiders are invading the country with growing artists like DJ Fresh, Goldfish and Protoculture leading the way.The festival will take place over two days in two different locations in Cape Town Feb. 13 and Johannesburg Feb. 14.Watch the official aftermovie from 2014 to get a sense of what went down last year. Ultra Music Festival Officially Announces 2015 Lineup Phase 1: Avicii, Skrillex, Tiësto, Hardwell Included
The lineup for Ultra Music Festival leaked before the New Year and took a lot of the momentum out of the announcement, but the festival has officially announced the first phase of artists who will be performing at Ultra. It has a mix of your typical headliners like Avicii, Alesso, Axwell / Ingrosso, Hardwell and Skrillex, with big name underground house and techno acts like Carl Cox, Dixon, Maceo Plex, Deep Dish, and Marco Carola. As is tradition with the festival, it likes to bring in a live component of electronic music, so other artists like Clean Bandit, Porter Robinson, RAC and Gorgon City will all perform live via a press release. -

Hard Events's Holy Ship! has become one dance music's premiere destinations for fans who want to party out at sea with their favorite DJs. Entering its fourth year, the dance cruise just completed its first journey from Miami with Djs like A-Trak, Pretty Lights, Laidback Luke, Flume, Duke Dumont, Rl Grime, Gorgon City and others were brought along for the four-day voyage. 2015 saw the cruise expand to two seafaring expeditions out of Miami, but according to an interview by Revolt with Gary Richards, the founder of Hard Events, which hosts Holy Ship!, the promoter has their sites on another market, Europe, specifically the Mediterranean. -
Gorgon City Reveals 2015 North American Live Tour Details [FULL SCHEDULE]
Part of the new wave of UK house and garage exports going global, Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, known professionally as Gorgon City, are coming back to the United States. They teased a small North American tour a short while ago and now have revealed the details for where they will be touching down. They will begin their tour in New York City on February 17 at an undisclosed location, but since it is a live tour, it will probably be some place with a stage where they can set up their gear like a Music Hall of Williamsburg, Terminal 5 or Webster Hall. They will then hit three more United States hotspots, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, before circling back to the East Coast for two chows in Canada in Montreal and Toronto on February 25 and 26, respectively. -
