It was, truly, one of the best musical performances from a politician that we've ever seen, but mayors-on-the-mic is all the rage recently, perhaps inspired by Barack Obama and his many soulful appearances. We had a realization while watching the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight last night: Amid all the spectacle at the "fight of the century," the rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" turned in by Jamie Foxx was somewhat a spectacle unto itself. In fact, our national anthem can easily be converted into an overwrought piece of showmanship when handled awkwardly, and nowhere is it handled more awkwardly than at major sporting events. We decided to look at seven versions of the national anthem—from Josh Groban to Queen Latifah—from seven of the largest sporting events so far during 2015 and rank them for both talent and sincerity. -

This week's Billboard 200 featured the soundtrack to Furious 7 reaching no. 1 after four weeks on the charts. What's propelled the album to higher and higher sales every week? For one thing, the release of the film. More importantly however is the new metrics behind the Billboard 200, which now counts song streams and downloads toward "equivalent album sales." When an album has one song that really hits home with the population, that in turn helps the album that features it to move higher on the Billboard 200 charts. For Furious 7, that song is "See You Again," a track by Wiz Khalifa paying homage to deceased actor Paul Walker. -

To keep 'Frozen' ever-present in society, Disney released a 'Frozen' short to tide eager audiences until the much-anticipated sequel is released. Disney just announced via Twitter that there will officially be a sequel after months of speculation. -
Idina Menzel Jokingly Botches John Travolta's Name at the Oscars for Payback From Last Year's 'Adele Dazeem'
One year ago, John Travolta absolutely botched Idina Menzel's name while introducing her to the stage at the Oscars. Last night, Feb. 22, the "Let It Go" singer got back at him, introducing the actor as "Glom Gazingo," 'Billboard' noted. The joke name was about as accurate as Travolta's infamous Adele Dazeem pronunciation. The audience had a nice laugh before the pair embraced and Travolta awkwardly touched Menzel's face -- see below. -
