As expected, the “Call Tyrone” icon brought big fashion and big laughs to the stage, but it was her opening bit that’s got everyone talking. After declaring that she’d be banning all rap for the night to focus on R&B and soul, Badu then took “calls” from rappers Young Thug, Andre 3000 and Iggy Azalea, eventually tell the Aussie MC she could attend because her music isn’t considered rap.
