• Will 'The Blacklist' Crash And Burn Like Several Other Hotly Anticipated Shows Have?

We are only two weeks into the new fall season and already fans are weighing in on what shows are clicking- and what ones need to get it together quickly. At this time last season all eyes were glued to The Blacklist. James Spader seems unable to do any wrong while onscreen and his ingenious way of bringing Ray Reddington to life had instant fans begging for more. Throughout the season so many questions went unanswered which was cool for viewers' who love a slow build up as long as there is a pay off in the end. Unfortunately, creeping into season two something feels very off to fans. It's not the kind of thing that you can put your finger on either, it's just not working as well it seems.
  • James Spader Dishes On Loving The Surprises In 'The Blacklist' Scripts And Filming With Mary-Louise Parker

The first season of The Blacklist left fans hanging with no less than a pile of unanswered questions and luckily the wait for season 2 is nearly over. When we last saw Ray Reddington, played to perfection by James Spader, he was still working with the FBI as a turncoat and his relationship to Agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) was still murky. Perhaps the biggest ongoing question is whether or not Red is Liz's father and just when fans think that they have it figured out along comes a curve ball to mess it all up again. Spader recently talked about the difficulties of starting a brand new show and how everyone involved in season one kind of figured it out as they went along. Season two actually begins a few months after where we left the characters and the same threats exist.
  • Television Characters Like 'Scandal's Olivia Pope and 'The Blacklist's Ray Reddington Are The New Prime Time Heroes

Have you ever really thought about the characters that we fall in love with on television? I don't mean just rattling off a bunch of names but actually think about it. If you're like me then I'm going to bet that several of those fictional people that you adore you would also run like hell from in real life. How many of us would really pull for someone like Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) - Scandal's official fixer, when she's not too busy banging the married president or Ray Reddington (James Spader) who spent the majority of his life killing for fun before deciding it was time to help the agents that he eluded for decades over on The Blacklist?
