Wilco Announces Tour Dates, Box Set For 20th Anniversary
Consequence of Sound reports that in celebration of their 20th anniversary, alt-country superstars Wilco have announced a brief string of US tour dates at the end of October, starting in Nashville on Oct. 21 and ending in Port Chester, NY on Oct. 29, with an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 27. In addition to this tour, they’ve also announced plans for their first ever compilation. -

Pitchfork reports that Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has announced a tour of the US and Europe in support of his upcoming album Sukierae, which he recorded with his new band Tweedy, featuring his 18-year-old son Spencer on drums. The tour kicks off in Athens, Georgia on Sept. 19 and ends in Leuven, Belgium on Nov. 15. In addition to the Tweedy tour dates, Wilco will also be playing four dates at the beginning of September in Ohio and Virginia. -

As reported by Stereogum, the album will feature a different artist performing each of its 20 songs, with Beck performing just one himself.
