On the heels of the widely watched live reboot of "The Wiz," which starred well-known acts such as Queen Latifah, Ne-Yo, David Alan Grier and Mary J. Blige, FOX is now contributing to the growing list of made-for-TV musical remakes with their version of the beloved classic, "Grease." The original, starring Olivia Newton-John and John Trovolta, premiered in 1978. The remake is set to star Julianne Hough and Aaron Tveit, with Vanessa Hudgens and Keke Palmer also taking on iconic roles. Hudgens is set to play the ultra sexy (and majorly complicated) Rizzo, While Palmer takes on the quirky character of Marty. -

"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens will join actress Julianne Hough as Sandy and Rizzo in Fox's planned TV adaptation of the 1978 classic, "Grease." Although the special won't air until 2016, "Grease: Live" is the network's answer to NBC's "The Sound of Music" and, more recently, "Peter Pan." -
Julianne Hough and Len Goodman Will Return to Judge Season 20 of 'DWTS' Next Spring
It has not even been 24 hours since Season 19 of "Dancing with the Stars" wrapped up and already there is talk about what to expect from Season 20 next spring! The show will actually be celebrating its 10th anniversary, and major plans are underway to switch things up while securing some of the things and players that have worked.Rob Wade, the show's executive producer, recently talked to The Wrap about Julianne Hough's contribution as a drug this past season and how quickly she managed to gel with the rest of the panel."I think the ballroom experience and the dance experience and the star quality and vibrancy that Julianne has brought to the panel has been exceptional. I also think that the way that Carrie Ann [Inaba], Bruno [Tonioli] and Len [Goodman] have embraced her and have individually been so great this season, as well, has been wonderful. I think it shows their character that they can do that. The three of them have been absolutely wonderful in welcoming Julianne in and I think it has been lovely to watch," said Wade. -
'Dancing With The Stars' Season 19 Debuts With Julianne Hough On The Judging Panel
How is it that Dancing with the Stars just debuted its' 19th season last night? Has it really been around for that long? Perhaps it does seem like ABC has been spending Monday night's in the ballroom for as long as fans can remember. Some little changes have been made to make this season run a bit better and the biggest thing is bringing back Julianne Hough. Unfortunately she won't be guiding a falling star through steps and arm holds though, instead she is now a welcome addition to the judging panel.
