Karen O unveiled a grainy, New York City themed short film for "Singalong" featuring stranger flooded streets, city dwellers sucked into their cell phones and sweethearts exchanging kisses and holding tightly to their dog leashes on park benches. The Asli Baykal-directed short boasts a lo-fi attribute that conjures a Seventies slide show while the Yeah Yeah Yeahs front woman delivers the lines-"All alone on your way home / You could be wrong, sing it anyway / Sing along your favorite song" - over gentle strums of the guitar. -

We haven't heard very much at all from New York indie rock trio Yeah Yeah Yeahs since their 2013 album Mosquito, and according to lead vocalist Karen O, this is because the band is currently "on a bit of a hiatus." In a recent interview with NME, O revealed that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs currently have no plans to record another album, though they haven't actually split up. -
