• John Mayer Interviews Katy Perry's Left Shark and Andy Cohen on 'Late Late Show'

Ever since Craig Ferguson left the "Late Late Show" on CBS, the network has had a patchwork of different hosts that have included actors, comedians and musicians like Wayne Brady, Sean Hayes, Thomas Lennon and now John Mayer. Mayer hosted the episode last night, Feb. 4, and after a monologue, kicked off the show with the two Katy Perry Super Bowl halftime show sharks on the program. Unfortunately, they were not able to speak for themselves because they are sharks, but an interpreter and agent was there to spray them down with a small spray bottle and express what they were thinking in human tongue. He interviewed Left Shark and Andy Cohen.

  • Super Bowl's Most Shazamed Songs: What Commercial Soundtracks Got Most Interest? Car Commercials Do Best

Advertisers paid more than $4.5 million per 30 seconds of airtime during the Super Bowl last night so they like to know that their wares get people's attention. One way to do this is to examine what soundtracks get Shazamed, or searched using music identification service Shazam. Last night's most Shazamed moments came during the halftime show (more on that later) but outside of that it looked like New York songwriter Marc Scibilia induced the most curiosity with his rendition of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" featured during a Jeep commercial.
  • One of Katy Perry's Dancing Sharks From Her Super Bowl Halftime Performance Did an AMA

The Northeastern and Northwestern sections of the United States wake up in different moods this morning, but for the rest of us without a stake in the fight, we have been left with some interesting images from the Super Bowl. Many will remember Darrell Bevell's terrible call on the goal line to call quick slants when Marshawn Lynch could have punched that in, but Katy Perry's halftime show had some interesting visual pieces that will make forgetting Bevell a little easier. One of the most iconic members of her halftime show were the two sharks that flanked the "Roar" singer as she sang "California Gurls" with a playful, tropical backdrop of palm trees, beach balls and, infamously, two dancing sharks. One of the sharks just did a brief Reddit AMA -- which is below -- and answered a few of the burning questions fans have for the veteran of the Katy Perry crew.
