Rocklahoma, one of the largest strictly-rock festivals in the United States, announced its 2014 lineup on Wednesday. Kid Rock, Five Finger Death Punch and Staind are listed as the headliners for the three-day festival. This will be the fifth installation of Rocklahoma. It will take place May 23, 24 and 25 in its usual home of Pryor, OK. -

SeaWorld is scrambling to find acts to fill the lineup for the "Bands, Brews & BBQ" music event this weekend, but it managed to come through in the clutch, adding Alan Jackson and Kid Rock on Wednesday. The event had seen most of its original lineup pull out regarding potential backlash from the documentary Blackfish. -

Music festival announcement season has swung into full gear, and after looking at a couple of lineups, you get the idea for the rest. Many kudos to the many worthy alternative and indie rock bands touring the festival circuit this summer, but few festivals include anything representing the harder-rocking/metal side of music (we're stoked for Deafheaven at Governor's Ball). Rock on The Range, based in Columbus, OH, is the place to be for those into "weight room rock." The show's eighth incarnation brings headliners again. -

More than 112 performers, and plenty of big names, showed up to play at "Playin' Possum: The Final No Show," a gig performed Friday night at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
