Hear Frank Ocean's Moving Cover of Aaliyah's 'At Your Best (You Are Love)' [LISTEN]
On Jan. 16, treasured R&B/soul singer Aaliyah would have turned 36, and to honor her life, Frank Ocean covered the One In A Million singer's rendition of "At Your Best (You Are Love)," an Isley Brothers track from 1976 that was covered by Aaliyah in 1994. Frank Ocean took to his active Tumblr account to share the stripped-down and soulful cover. The Channel Orange singer dishes a moving falsetto, which he titles "You Are Luhh," that is a fitting tribute to the R&B singer who was taken from us too soon. Lil B is a treasured item of our musical generation. So when his apartment building caught fire, somebody had to be there to save the based god. According to a report, Lil B and six others were saved by 15-year-old Mateo Ysmael who ran through the building to wake everyone up so they would get out in time. -

Bay Area rapper Lil B claims he has been temporarily banned by Facebook for "hate speech" following tweets about racism weeks after his MIT lecture.The self-proclaimed "Based God" took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on various things, including racism, animal rights and slavery. He called out America and those citizens who partake in or fail to defend the mistreatment of humans and animals. The tweets reportedly showed up on his Facebook page.With no hesitation, B began his series of tweets with: "If you were born in the 1950's or before and your family did not push to have segregation and slavery stop ur grandparents are p---y."Following the post, Facebook blocked the "Wonton Soup" rapper. -

Bay Area rapper Lil B has made quite a nice (and unexpected) side career for himself on the lecture circuit, giving speeches at colleges such as New York University, the University of California Riverside, and Virginia Tech. Today, the 25-year-old rapper announced his next speaking engagement via twitter, which will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) later this month on Nov. 21. -
