Madeon Shares 'Nonsense' Video Ahead Of 2016 Pixel Empire US Tour
Madeon has unveiled the music video for his collaboration with Foster The People's Mark Foster "Nonsense." Taken from the French producer's debut album Adventure released in March on Columbia Records, the video is the continuation of his two prior music videos for "You're On" and "Pay No Mind." Madeon has announced the dates for his North American Fall Live tour. The "Pay No Mind" producer kicked off his world tour in support of his debut artist album Adventure in North America in the spring performing at venues all across the country including Coachella and right here in New York City at Webster Hall, which we had a pleasure to attend. The new set of shows will primarily take place over the month of September, including a few festival gigs at Electric Zoo, Life Is Beautiful and TBD Festival, while also acting as a support act for Zedd on his True Colors Tour this fall. -

Now the takedowns are spreading to their smaller artists and some are not happy at all. One artist who is about to get his music removed from Soundcloud is French electronic producer, Madeon, and he is not happy at all about the situation. -

A historic venue like Webster Hall rarely double books for artists in a single night. You get one shot to impress the crowd and that is it. 20-year-old French DJ, producer Madeon, real name Hugo Pierre Leclercq, is not most artists and on Friday, April 24, the Frenchman was allotted not one, but two sets in front of a packed, adoring New York City crowd. He has been hailed as a wunderkind and the next big thing in dance music since he was 16 years old, winning a Beatport remix for Pendulum's track "The Island." This led to a host of British label execs, including Pete Tons to fly to his parent's home in Nantes, France to woo the youngster. He signed a publishing deal at 16, had a major label deal at 17 and has produced songs for Ellie Goulding, Lady Gaga and Coldplay. -

The highly anticipated album from Madeon, 20 -- real name Hugo Leclercq -- has been in the works for a couple years, but now with the official release just a week away March 31, fans can at last hear what the self-proclaimed perfectionist has been cooking up in his studio. Unlike many of his prior singles, Madeon used the partnership with Columbia Records, which is releasing the album, to get some big-name features from the likes of Bastille frontman Dan Smith, Passion Pit and Foster the People frontman Mark Foster. The tour will pack 22 gigs into a month as the "Finale" producer takes his talents all across North America to San Francisco, Mexico City for the EMPO Awards, two stints at Coachella, New York City, Chicago and Minneapolis before heading to Canada to finish out in Toronto and Montreal. -
