But the most notable collaboration came in the form of "Feeling Myself," which features one of pop's biggest stars: Beyoncé. One week after a surge of new releases and the Billboard 200 has gotten back to the same ol' as Taylor Swift and 1989 reclaim the top spot on the charts. The album moved 101,000 equivalent albums as it earned its tenth week atop the Billboard 200 and the first time in three weeks. This makes Swift openly the second woman ever to have two separate albums that have spent at least 10 weeks at no. 1, with Whitney Houston being the other. -

Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj have some explaining to do. The pair have been teasing a possible relationship for awhile, and rumors of the two being an item re-surfaced in December when Mill was released from prison. Mill was is featured on two tracks - "Big Daddy" and "Buy a Heart" - on Minaj's The Pinkprint, and the two have been photographed together before. The new Instagram picture, which doesn't confirm or deny a releationship, has Mill giving Minaj a kiss on the cheek, Rap-Up notes. -

The man at the center of this, her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, who became embroiled in controversy after he gave an interview with the Breakfast Club and made comments that insinuated that he had written some of Minaj's music. There were those who questioned his claims from the start as a possible publicity stunt to remain in the spotlight or help launch something of his own, but he has taken to twitter to clear up the whole matter. Fall Out Boy and a slew of other new albums broke the dam and brought forth a flood of debuts back onto the Billboard 200 after the holiday sales lull. That band's American Beauty/American Psycho premiered at no. 1 with 218,000 equivalent albums sold, and its 192,000 actual album sales teamed with Meghan Trainor's debut last week for the first pair of albums released during January to top 150,000 apiece since 2010. American Beauty marked a significant uptick in sales from the band's 2013 album Save Rock and Roll. -
Lil Wayne Reportedly Wants To Take Drake and Nicki Minaj Off Cash Money With Him
It is not secret that Lil Wayne wants off Cash Money Records, the joint partner with his label Young Money for the YMCMB, but according to reports he does not want to make the move alone. According to a TMZ report, as Lil Wayne wants to keep his whole roster of artists together on Young Money, which includes Drake, Nicki Minaj, Christina Milian, Tyga, Lil Twist and Mack Maine, the president of Young Money. The "Start A Fire" rapper is prepared to sue Birdman to do so after already, reportedly filing a lawsuit to get the $8 million advance on Tha Carter V back as the album has not been released as of yet. -

The rate at which Taylor Swift has been at the top of the Billboard 200 has been chopped down to 75 percent this week as Meghan Trainor takes the crown with Title. The album moved 238,000 equivalent albums, marking the highest debut for any solo performer since Susan Boyle during 2009. The "All About That Bass" vocalist joins One Direction and J. Cole as the only performers to interrupt Swift since 1989 came out 12 weeks ago. We'll see what happens next week with regard to that streak.
