'Pitch Perfect 2' Soundtrack Revealed: Beyonce, Miley Cyrus and More
'Pitch Perfect 2' has finally revealed the soundtrack for the forthcoming sequel, due in theaters on May 30, and boy is there a lot of music crammed into it. Although the iTunes playlist doesn't reflect too many familiar-sounding tracks, Pop Sugar has broken down the soundtrack and dug out more than 35 tracks buried within the film's many mashups. Expect contributions from Pitbull, Miley Cyrus and of course, Cisqo, to appear within. -
Lindsey Stirling Wins at 2015 YouTube Music Awards: Other Winners Include Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga
This has been quite a year for violinist Lindsey Stirling. The dancing musician appeared in the Grammy Legacy concert and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Now, Stirling has been announced as one of the 50 musicians who are winners at the 2015 YouTube Music Awards. Other artists include heavy-hitters such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. -

Earlier this week we got the exciting news that Taylor Swift and 1989 had passed the Frozen Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to become the bestselling album of 2014. Both albums went well beyond triple-platinum status during their 2014 sales runs and it seems Swift's most recent album will be one of the bestselling albums of the decade, if not the sole best selling record, but the time it's done. But now it's time to take the facts into consideration: Album sales as a whole were down by more than 11 percent during 2014. -

Another week and another run at history by Taylor Swift: Her album 1989 managed to top the Billboard 200 for the seventh time during its nine weeks on the charts, selling 326,000 full copies and generating 430 multi-metric equivalent albums (MME's). That no. 1 spot moves her into second place all-time for women atop the Billboard 200 with 31 weeks at no. 1, trailing only Whitney Houston and her crazy 46 week total. -
Taylor Swift First Artist to be Number One on Billboard's Artist 100 List for 10 Consecutive Weeks
Taylor Swift is the first artist to be on top of the Billboard Artist 100 list for 10 weeks straight. The chart, which was introduced in July, tracks data from other Billboard lists like the Hot 100, Top Albums Sales and Social 50, all of which Swift has dominated with her new release, '1989.' Her record will be a tough one to break considering Sam Smith only topped it for three weeks straight and Ariana Grande only clocked in two. -

Taylor Swift and '1989' Still on Top; Pentatonix Still Challenging, AC/DC Debuts New Album 'Rock Or Bust'
Taylor Swift keeps on trucking following the Thanksgiving sales binge, keeping her no. 1 spot for 1989 for a fourth week with 244,000 equivalent sales. All told, Swift has been atop the Billboard 200 for 29 total weeks through her career. The only women ahead of her are Mariah Carey wit h30 weeks and Whitney Houston with 46, and it seems Swift could catch the former act next week if 1989 keeps its sales up.
