Last weekend was supposed to be a huge event for Kate Middleton. Queen Elizabeth had asked her to make a solo trip to Malta in her place. The ailing queen finally believes that Middleton is up to the task of appearing along at royal appearances and this would have been her first opportunity to do so. Unfortunately Middleton's severe morning sickness caused her to have to sit out the trip and her husband, Prince William went in her place. When asked how his wife was feeling William proclaimed her to be "so-so", meaning the duchess is still too sick to function normally. -
Kate Middleton Cancels First Solo Trip As A Royal Due To Severe Morning Sickness
Despite being spotted out in public briefly over the weekend it seems like morning sickness is wrecking havoc on Kate Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge was scheduled to travel to Malta this weekend and it was a huge deal because this would have been her first solo trip as a member of the royal family. Clarence House announced this morning that Kate is now too ill to travel and her husband, Prince William will instead travel in her place. The trip was originally scheduled to be made by Queen Elizabeth but she passed it to Kate due to her own failing health. -
Clarence House Confirms That Kate Middleton Is Pregnant With Second Child Due Next Spring
Finally we can all stop contemplating whether or not Kate Middleton is really pregnant because official confirmation was announced this morning. Clarence House announced that Prince William's wife, The Duchess of Cambridge is indeed expecting a second child next spring. Kate has also cleared her royal schedule for the near future due to another significant battle with severe morning sickness similar to what she experienced with Prince George in late 2012.
