G.O.O.D. Music has a new addition and, despite Pusha T's suggestion, it is not Lil Wayne. Instead, Kanye West has decided to sign Kacy Hill to his label.Hill offered up her debut song "Experience" in September and served as a backup dancer for West during his Yeezus tour. During an interview with "Pigeons and Planes," the model-turned-singer revealed her newfound love for writing music."'Experience' was one of the first songs that I wrote, so it was only appropriate to release it first," she said. "Writing it was such a freeing experience; I can definitely say it was the first time I felt a real connection with what I was doing in my life. The whole process was so organic and I never want to lose that energy."Hill, like West, also has a deep passion for fashion and hopes it will mesh into her music. She said she wants to make "music that feels good and creates movement in redefining pop and its interaction with fashion."With her G.O.O.D. Music signing, Hill joins the likes of Big Sean, Pusha T, John Legend, Q-Tip and Teyana Taylor. -

Axwell Λ Ingrosso have officially previewed their unexpected collaboration with American rapper Pusha T titled "This Time We Can't Go Home." Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso took to the BBC Radio One airwaves with legendary DJ Pete Tong to discuss their project, working with Pusha T and played what they have finished of their collaboration with him titled "This Time We Can't Go Home." They sampled themselves from "Something New" and created a new instrumental by flipping the cheery synths for something grittier and darker, sending Pusha T's vocals through a vocoder, via "Do Androids Dance."The duo have been playing this out as an intro for their DJ sets since the summer, including at Governor's Ball in New York City, where they premiered a slew of new album music. During the interview, the duo also played for the first time the extended/club edit of their recent single "Something New" that has been used in a new, star-studded Beats commercial that features the Jenner sisters, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and more.In their conversation with Pete Tong, they discuss their project, combing the Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso names, new music and what they have coming up. Pusha T Explains Why He Told Lil Wayne to Join G.O.O.D. Music: Says Cash Money Rapper Should Collab with Kanye West
Despite his past beef with the Cash Money rapper, Pusha T invited Lil Wayne to join G.O.O.D. Music after the "Believe Me" rhymer took to Twitter to express his dismay with the label. During a recent interview, Push explained the gesture and suggested Wayne should work with Kanye West.The folks at "GQ" caught up with Pusha T to discuss his collaboration with Adidas when Lil'Wayne's name was thrown into the mix. He was asked if he actually wanted Wayne to join the label, and he offered up an interesting response."I don't know. I just like the fact that I'm a prophet because of my song 'Exodus,'" he said.Released in 2012, Push uses the track to throw shade and mocks what he calls the New Orleans rapper's career self-sabotage:"It came out two years ago! People should just call me 'The Prophet.' You know what? Wayne on G.O.O.D. Music ... Well 'Ye actually likes Wayne, so they could probably make some good music together. But who knows." -

Trey Songz celebrated his 30th birthday recently, and he rung in the milestone with buddy Chris Brown and a full-out carnival. Kid Ink, Pusha T and Sevyn Streeter were also in attendance. As "Vibe" noted, the party featured women on stilts, a mechanical bull that Brown rode and cotton candy.Pictures posted by the Brand Group show Songz having a great time. Brown even treated his friend to a soulful rendition of "Happy Birthday" — see below. In August, Breezy and Trigga announced a joint tour that will kick off in January. Back in September, it was reported that Lorde and Kanye West were working on some new music together, and today we have learned why. "Consequence of Sound" reports that Kanye has provided a remix of Lorde's "Yellow Flicker Beat" for the soundtrack to the upcoming "Hunger Games" movie, which Lorde has curated. Other artists appearing on the soundtrack include Charli XCX, Haim, Bat for Lashes, Pusha T, Q-Tip and CHVRCHES.
