Knight allegedly got into an altercation near the site of a promotional shoot for the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton before the homicide happened. According to witnesses, Knight began arguing with two men when he pulled up to the scene in a red pick-up truck. When the fight began to get more serious, Knight reportedly backed into a victim, who died, and hit two others, who suffered non life-threatening injuries. -

Suge Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records, reportedly ran over a man with his car on the set of a movie he was working on in Compton, California. The victim died shortly after Knight fled the scene of the crime.
