• RECESS Festival 2015 Tour Dates: Event Features The Chainsmokers, Matt & Kim

    RECESS Music & Ideas Festival has announced its 2015 tour dates. The event concept brings together some of the finest up-and-coming musicians, entrepreneurial minds and startups in the United States together and travels to large college campuses all across the country. The festival will feature musicians like The Chainsmokers, Jessie J, Logic, Matt & Kim, Kyle and others. Presented by Dallas Mavericks owner, 'Shark Tank' host and financial guru Mark Cuban, the touring festival series was created by two Indiana University students. They originally founded the electronic music festival Glowfest, which hosted the likes of Afrojack, but changed their concept to include a speaker series and workshops with bright young minds from around the country.

    The Chainsmokers have unveiled the music video for their latest single "Let You Go" featuring Brooklyn indie band Great Good Fine Ok. The "Kanye" producers teased the topic of the video back when the track was released, but now the full visuals have been unveiled and the quirky personality are on full display from duo Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. The video documents a crazy day and night out on the town in Los Angeles with some unknown female protagonist who at the end of the day probably is the one calling the shots in this relationship. After having some sex in a hobbit-like bookstore while Drew reads in the next row seemingly oblivious, Taggart is dragged into the situation, which becomes a steamy and physical love triangle that ends up being awkward between them. Do not be surprised if this is based on a true story. Watch the clip below of the awkward threesome.

They will be heading out on a massive 30+ date tour across North America that covers festival dates at SXSW, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella and Governor's Ball (see the exact of when they will be playing hint, hint), while also playing theaters in Arizona, Texas, Colorado and Quebec according to a press release.

    The final week of the National Football League is underway, and the teams that will be headed on the road to Super Bowl XLIX will be decided over the next few hours. Only two will survive the gauntlet of the playoff tournament to get to Glendale, Arizona, where the Super Bowl will be played Sunday, Feb. 1. Surrounding the biggest sports event in the United States are a whole slew of parties, concerts and various events thrown by companies and media outlets with celebrities, athletes and socialites all looking to join the action for Super Bowl week. In the week leading up to the big game, there will be five days of free concerts by artists, including country stars Eli Young Band and pop-EDM upstarts The Chainsmokers.The five days of concerts will bring together a variety of styles, including some high-energy dance music, country and 1980s classics from Dramarama, Bow Wow Wow, Gene Loces Jezebel and Naked Eyes.Each night will span four hours, starting at 6 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m., with the headliner taking the stage at 8:30 p.m.

As Billboard points out, it makes complete sense with tunes like "Play It Again" and "Drink a Beer." AC/DC, Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd were right behind Bryan.
