• Barbra Streisand Partners With Jimmy Fallon During First Late-Night 'Tonight Show' Appearance In Over 50 Years

    Barbra Streisand's hotly anticipated appearance on Monday night's edition of The Tonight Show kept many fans awake later than usual last night. It's quite rare for only one guest to monopolize the entire show but this was a history-making occasion marking the 'Funny Girl's' first return to late-night television in over fifty years. Streisand's diva reputation seems to often proceed her but there was absolutely no hint of it as she did a duet with Jimmy Fallon during a medley of songs off of her new Partners album.

    On last night's (Sept. 9) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, legendary alternative rock band the Replacements made their first television appearance in over 25 years, performing their classic song "Alex Chilton" from their 1987 album Pleased To Meet Me. It's also the band's first time back to 30 Rockefeller Plaza after being banned from Saturday Night Live after a characteristically drunk and sloppy performance on that show back in 1986.
