• Rascal Flatts Talk 2015 Summer Tour, Vegas Residency, Putting 'New Flavor' on Hit Songs

    Rascal Flatts will be spending much of 2015 on the road, but they are making Las Vegas their home away from home this month. Gary LeVox and Co. have a Vegas residency at The Hard Rock from Feb. 25 to March 14 before they head out to see the rest of America on a summer tour. Guitarist Joe Don Rooney told "Billboard" that this year's shows will focus on a different style of live music by putting a "new flavor" on hit songs.

    American punk fans are getting the tour of a lifetime this spring when Bad Religion teams up with newly announced supporting act OFF! Both are legendary staples of the 1980s scene -- the latter is a supergroup formed in 2009 from members of Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Redd Kross and other bands -- and they are somehow still kicking.

    Foo Fighters are one of the greatest "offshoot" rock bands of all time, the product of Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl's side project he developed while writing songs on the road. Now, the Foo gets its own version of itself, with bassist Nate Mendel breaking rank to release a new album under the moniker "Lieutenant" and announce a solo tour.
  • Kanye West and Rihanna Touring Together? Trek Might Be Coming Following Grammy Appearance

    Now that Kanye West and Rihanna have linked up on a track -- with Paul McCartney, no less -- the pair might be trying to tour together, too, following their Grammy appearance. According to "HotNewHipHop," the "Umbrella" singer tweeted out a link to the Diamond Ball auction in December in order to help out the Clara Lionel Foundation. One item available for bidding is a "Kanye West Tour Experience" package, which includes VIP tickets to one date on the rapper's upcoming 2015 tour.
  • Steely Dan Announce West Coast Tour Around Coachella Appearances [FULL SCHEDULE]

    One of the biggest surprises from this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival was the announcement of jazz rock legends Steely Dan as one of the peformers, and in support of their appearances at the festival the band has announced a string of West Coast tour dates for April, "Ultimate Classic Rock" has reported. Dubbed the "Rockabye Gollie Angel" tour, these dates kick off with two performances in Santa Rosa, California, April 7 and 8, and conclude April 18 in San Diego. Other than a stop in Las Vegas April 11, all dates on the tour are in California.

    Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring have announced tour dates for Europe and North America in support of their new, upcoming album "Another Eternity." According to "Pitchfork," the tour kicks off in Brussels, Belgium, April 8 and hits North America May 18 with a show in Salt Lake City, Utah. The tour finishes June 19 in Oakland, California.   • Dave Matthews Band Announce 2015 Summer Tour: Group Will Hit 47 Cities in North America [FULL SCHEDULE]

    Dave Matthews Band released its 47-date tour today, Jan. 13, instantly making fans eager for summer's arrival. The trek will kick off in Austin May 13 and run until Sept. 13, when it will wrap up in Phoenix. Tickets will be available Thursday, Jan. 15, for Warehouse members and Feb. 13 for the general public, "Consequence of Sound" notes.The band is a summer favorite, religiously hitting the road during the warm months in North America. As per usual, the group will perform two sets at each stop on the jaunt.For the extremely devoted, DMB will stop for two nights in Camden, New Jersey; Sarasota, New York; Noblesville, Indiana; East Troy, Wisconsin; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Englewood, Colorado.   • Eric Prydz Announces 16-Date Generate Tour: New York, San Francisco, Chicago Included

    Pryda fans rejoice, for Eric Prydz will be back on the road again to close out the winter. The "Every Day" producer just announced his "Generate" tour, named after an upcoming single of his that will take him across the United States exclusively to small clubs. Eric Prydz is no stranger to club shows, which is where he got his start in small Stockholm clubs, playing for only a hundred or so people alongside guys like Steve Angello and Axwell. He continues to play small clubs, but with his EPIC — Eric Prydz in Concert — concept live show becoming more popular, Prydz has opened up to larger venues, most notably in September, taking over Madison Square Garden with 4,000 visuals and the largest indoor hologram ever used.Prydz will be hopping on his bus — he does not like flying — and crisscrossing North America, playing clubs in Austin, Detroit, Denver, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and finally San Francisco, according to a press release.Prydz will be playing extended sets at each of the stops along the way, allowing him to dive deep into his extensive discography and multiple monikers, which includes Eric Prydz, Pryda and Cirez D.To see what is in store for you, check out his new Essential Mix back-to-back with Jeremy Olander and his live set from Hard Day of the Dead alongside deadmau5.Check out the dates below and get tickets from your local venue.   • John 5 & The Creatures Announce US Tour Dates [SCHEDULE]

    You might know John 5 as the guitarist for Rob Zombie, but the gnar-shredding 43-year-old also has his own project John 5 & The Creatures. He has pumped out eight solo albums, including 2014's "Careful with That Axe." Now, he is headed out on the road to give several new songs their live debuts.ANTI Music reports J5 & TC will be hitting up much of the southwest this February with a 12-date tour kicking off in Ramona, California, Feb. 8.John 5 made a point to mention that the tour will focus on newer songs from Careful, but will not leave out content from his first three albums "Vertigo," "Songs for Sanity" and "The Devil Knows My Name."The Michigan native has always branched out musically on his solo stuff, and he began using country picking on his 2004 debut."A lot of people enjoy the country picking because they don't hear it all the time," he told guitar.com. "Whenever an instrumental thing comes out, we know what it's going to sound like. But I really enjoy playing like that, and I promised myself when I first did it, 'I'm gonna do some country picking on here.     There are plenty of bands celebrating their 20th anniversaries this year, and you can count Gent Treadly among them. The 1990s jam band featuring founder Greg Koerner is set to play a slew of 2015 gigs.The biggest bash will take place Jan. 11 at the Brooklyn Bowl, where the group will host its official birthday party.
