Sad news coming out of the reality television world today as it has been confirmed that Ahmad "Real" Givens has lost his long battle with colon cancer. He first rose to fame on VH1's I Love New York beside his brother Kamal "Chance" Givens. The two later had their own dating show on the network, Real Chance for Love and formed a rap group called The Stallionaires.Ahmad was first diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer back in 2013 and at the time was given only weeks to live. Not only did he survive, but he thrived until earlier this year. -
Juan Lizama and Juan Lopez Released from Hospital after Dangling Off of 1 World Trade Center Yesterday Afternoon as Scaffolding Collapsed
For only about a week has 1 World Trade Center been officially open for business, and already a heart-stopping crisis has been averted. It takes a special kind of bravery to choose to wash the windows of the 104-story building, and for Juan Lizama, 41, and Juan Lopez, 33, yesterday, Nov. 12 was business as usual.At least, until 12:42 p.m., when the slack in their scaffolding became uneven and collapsed, leaving them dangling. Within minutes the two men found themselves trapped in almost a completely vertical position between the 68th and 69th floors. Thankfully, this story had a happy ending: Both men have been released from the hospital and are safely at home this morning. -
Electric Zoo Festival Ecstasy Overdose Dealer Arrested
Almost one year after two fatal overdoses at the 2013 Electric Zoo Festival, a man has been arrested for allegedly supplying drugs to one of the victims. Patrick Morgan, 23, was arrested this morning after being accused of selling Molly to victim Jeffrey Russ and two others.
