• 'Handwritten' and Shawn Mendes Youngest Performer Since Justin Bieber to Top Billboard 200

    We may be witnessing the emergence of the next big young superstar as Shawn Mendes topped the Billboard 200 this week with his debut LP Handwritten. He becomes the youngest performer to top the chart since 2010, when Justin Bieber also did it at the age of 16 (albeit six months younger than Mendes). What makes Mendes' accomplishment more impressive is that he did so without a single on the Billboard charts, drawing almost entirely from hype built as a Vine star (and as an opener for Taylor Swift on tour). He moved 119,000 copies of his debut.

    Dej Loaf's already sexy track, "Me U and Hennessy," just got a lot steamier with the addition of Lil Wayne, who lays down a sultry verse. The collaboration was teased a few days ago when the music video was released and as the visuals came to a close, Lil Wayne's voice came into focus for a few seconds. Fans did not have to wait long to hear the final product with Weezy getting a lot more sexual than we have heard from him in quite some time.

    Mad Decent Block Party has unveiled the list of artists who will be joining Diplo and his merry band of misfits as he tours all over the United States and Canada. The "Express Yourself" DJ will be joined by over 60 DJs along the way, though not each artist will appear at every show. Some of the acts who have been booked on the 2015 Mad Decent Block Party lineup include, Skrillex, Major Lazer, Porter Robinson, Tyler, The Creator, RL Grime, Tommy Trash and Skrillex and Diplo together as Jack Ü.

    Tyler, The Creator can check one more thing off of his bucket list. Today he was the answer to a question on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire according to Complex. A woman was asked, "Which of these is a member of the hip-hop ground Odd Future, and not the lead character of a children's show?" She had to choose between Dora The Explorer, The Cherry Bomb rapper, Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob The Builder.

    Odd Future member, Tyler, The Creator released fourth studio album Cherry Bomb today. The LP features the likes of Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Pharrell and Schoolboy Q. The "Yonkers" rapper took to Twitter today to detail how collabs came about and some of the songwriting took place. In a long series of all caps tweets, the explanation dives into the personal details of Tyler's life as he was writing the album and some of the collaborations that did not come to be. Apparently he was looking to work with Stevie Wonder on "Find Your Wings", but that wasn't going to happen. He also warns fans he will be spamming out his album all week on social media so followers beware.

    Tyler, the Creator is a man of the people and a prankster. The "Yonkers" rapper used those skills last night, April 11, during his Coachella performance on the Outdoor stage. He took the time during his set to call out the celebrity-filled "boring" VIP section, specifically picking out his friend Kendall Jenner by playfully ripping on her.
  • Tyler, the Creator Unveils 'Cherry Bomb' Tracklist Featuring Lil Wayne, Kanye West

    Tyler, the Creator took to Instagram last night, April 11, to unveil the tracklist for his upcoming, somewhat of a surprise, sophomore artist album 'Cherry Bomb.' The "Yonkers" rapper unveiled plans to release the album only three days ago, while sharing the first two singles from the LP, "DEATHCAMP" and "F**KING YOUNG / PERFECT." The tracklist does not show any of the features on the album, unfortunately, but we do know so far that Track 11, titled "Smuckers," has Lil Wayne and Kanye West credited and "F**KING YOUNG / PERFECT" features Charlie Wilson, Toro Y Moi and Chad Alexander of the Black Lips.
