Zola Jesus Shares "Circles" Ahead of 'Nail' EP Release [LISTEN]
Nika Roza Danilova, also known as Zola Jesus, recently shared "Circles," a new track featured on her latest EP 'Nail.' 'Nail' is set to release September 18th. A suitably evocative b-side to "Nail," the fourth single from her fifth full length Taiga, "Circles" adheres to its namesake with atmospheric instrumentation and dark lyricism. -
David Byrne Prepares for 'Contemporary Color' Show Including 10 Color Guard Groups [WATCH]
In an area-sized display, former Talking Heads front man, David Byrne, enlisted the talents of a color guard team for four shows between June 22 and 23 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and June 27 and 28 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Ten Flag-spinning expert troops spanning the country will be joined by ten various artists including, St. Vincent, Tune-Yards, Nelly Furtago and Zola Jesus for the showing of 'Contemporary Color.' -
Northside Festival 2015 Lineup: Run The Jewels, Best Coast, Vince Staples
Most music fans are familiar with the major music festivals like Bonnaroo, Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza that showcase the biggest bands in the world. However, there are plenty of smaller local festival that showcase mid-level, up-and-coming and local acts that will be the next wave of headliners at those major, big-ticket festivals. New York City has countless music events happening every weekend, notably during the summer, and in three weeks, Northside Festival will be taking over Brooklyn with a combination of speakers, films and music. The festival just announced the majority of the artists who will be performing this year including Best Coast, Run The Jewels, Zola Jesus and Vince Staples. -

Zola Jesus Announces 2015 North American Tour Dates
Synthpop artist Zola Jesus has announced a string of North American tour dates for 2015, which you can check out below. According to "Consequence of Sound," the tour kicks off Jan. 8 in Seattle, Washington, and reaches the east coast before finishing up Feb. 6 in Phoenix, Arizona.These tour dates come in support of Zola Jesus's latest studio album "Taiga," which was released Oct. 6. "Taiga" is Zola Jesus's fifth studio album, her first since 2013's "Versions." Two singles have been released so far from Taiga: "Dangerous Days" and "Go (Blank Sea)." -
Run The Jewels' Cat Remix Of 'RTJ2,' 'Meow The Jewels,' Officially Funded On Kickstarter
Last month, El-P and Killer Mike's Run The Jewels announced a number of ridiculous fake pre-order packages for their upcoming album RTJ2. One of them was a package called "Meow the Jewels," which was described as a remixed version of RTJ2 "using nothing but cat sounds for music." One fan decided he would make a Kickstarter to raise the $40,000 needed to purchase the package, and because El-P has a sense of humor, he agreed to take on the project if it got funded. Surprisingly, it actually did reach its funding goal, and El-P has kept his word. -
