Recent reports suggest that Drake attempted to obtain damaging information about Kendrick Lamar by offering large sums of money to individuals connected to him.

Allegations claim that the the Canadian rapper paid $150,000 for the sought-after dirt but was outsmarted by those involved.

Atlanta-based rapper Coolee Bravo shed light on the alleged controversial scheme orchestrated by Drake, aimed at undermining his competitor.

Bravo said, "This bitch ass n----a Drake sent n-----s to Atlanta. He tried to come down here and get some information on Kendrick.

"Mind you, I can't get no information on Kendrick because I'm only tied to his friend named L [...] They come to me. They tried to give one of my lil' homies $150,000."

Following this, Bravo revealed that Whitney Alford, Lamar's fiancée, was in New York with him, and he intentionally misled Drake by conveying the opposite information.

"So I say, 'What they asking for?' They say. 'They wanna know something about Kendrick.' I said, 'Kendrick ain't from Atlanta or f------ Chicago so what the fuck are they asking?' They said, 'What do you know about Whitney?' I said, 'Whitney who? My girl?' 'Cause my girl named Whitney. They said, 'Nah, Kendrick's girl.'"

The rapper continued, "Whitney is up there with him. That's a bombshell; they don't know that. Drake asks, 'Why do you live in New York?' I said, 'Oh, they stupid. Take the money, I'm a tell them a lie' [...] I told them Kendrick was at fucking L.A. still. They gave me the money, and I gave $50,000 to my n-----s."

"'Family [Matters]' came out and we laughed. I said, 'That n-gga's stupid.' So while Drake was talking about bait, n----a, we got your money and you ain't even get nothing. You didn't get no information, you dumb ass n----a Drake is dumb, bruh."

"He's a Canadian n----a trying to get information from Black Americans from the hood. That n---- stupid."

"That's why Kendrick said, 'You came back with no receipts.' I should have asked for 200! That n----a went and put out 'Family [Matters]' and that's when Kendrick smoked his ass. He thinks n-----s gonna tell on him for money."

Fans are expressing uncertainty regarding Bravo's reliability.

One person remarked that they wanted proof that Drake employed Bravo and the wired money as payment.

Another said that without proof of documentation, these are all just hearsay.

This comes amid the ongoing rap feud between Drake and Lamar, and serious accusations against the latter in the song "Family Matters."

Among the claims made were allegations of physical violence towards his partner, Alford, and the allegations that one of his kids is the child of his longtime manager, Dave Free.

Without directly confronting the allegations, Lamar also subtly alluded to Drake's attempts to uncover details about his personal life in several of his diss tracks.
