Miley Cyrus will tell you in a second that she loves weed herself, but she wants to know why you only call her when you're on drugs. During her MTV Unplugged session last week (Jan. 29), the "Adore You" singer closed out the show with a cover of Arctic Monkeys' sizzling AM single "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High." Though the performance was eventually cut from the aired version on MTV, audio of the song has now surfaced online.
Cyrus tackled the Arctic Monkeys' single straight-on, with her smoky vocals making a pretty solid replacement for Alex Turner's winding verses. Since the point of Cyrus' Unplugged session was to prove there's a solid voice behind all that twerking and tongue-wagging, she turned it up to 11 for the final leg of the song, simply singing the crap out of it with nearly yelled vocals.

Cyrus is no stranger to covers. During her Unplugged set, she also tackled Dolly Parton's "Jolene," a song she sung during her Backyard Sessions in 2012. She's also known for a particularly spot-on rendition of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness," which has become a staple in her live show.
Thus, fans can easily expect some covers during her Bangerz Tour, which kicks off Feb. 14.
