Fetty Wap, Phony Ppl Perform 'Trap Queen,' 'My Way' On 'Jimmy Kimmel

Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" still reigns as possibly the hip-hop song of the 2015 thus far after dominating the winter and spring airwaves. It has not lost any steam heading into the summer and the Patterson, New Jersey native is keeping the momentum going with TV appearances and new music. Last night, he went on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform the smash single as well as his new track, "My Way," with the help of Phony Ppl.

Fetty Wap brings his signature melodic touch to the performance as the band behind him plays the track live, including the all important synth lead with a little electric guitar twist. He even lets the band go in for a little solo action at the very end of the track while he dances from side to side. Watch the performance of "Trap Queen" below.

The rapper followed up the performance of "Trap Queen" with his new single, "My Way," which really took off once Drake hopped on it for a remix in May. According to Wap, Drake reached out via Kanye West to get on the remix. It was originally leaked in snippets, but when the full thing was released, it was almost too much for the internet to handle.

Wap described his interaction with Drake to Hot 97 and how he asked to be a part of the track.

"The way [Drizzy] even asked me [about 'My Way'] like, 'Yo, can I bless the track? Do I have your blessings for it?'" he said. "I'm reading this like, 'Is it him or somebody else talking for him?' Next thing you know, he FaceTimed me like, 'Yo, I'm in the club. They bumpin' it right now.'"

The Toronto rapper, unfortunately, was not on hand to perform the remix, but the original worked just fine. Watch Fetty Wap & Phony Ppl perform "My Way."
