It's baaaaaack. Sunday night (March 2), music's most prolific dude Pharrell Williams performed his Oscar-nominated Despicable Me 2 song "Happy" with a very special guest... his big ol' Grammys hat.
After making waves (once again) on the red carpet with his capri-length suit pants, the uniquely fashionable star stormed the stage rocking a black striped track jacket, white T-shirt, jeans and his massive Vivienne Westwood hat, though this time it's in black.
Yeah, there are two of those hats.
His head wasn't the only place Pharrell's hat showed up. It was also animated on a massive yellow smiley face in a projected background.
Besides his stunning chapeau, Pharrell's performance was fittingly upbeat for the "Happy" tune. At one point, he wandered into the Oscars audience and boogied with Lupita Nyong'o, shimmied with Meryl Streep and got down with Amy Adams.
Pharrell was also joined on stage with a massive pack of spirited dancers of all ages, sizes and races. The performance was a fittingly peppy play for the notably upbeat, light tune.

"Happy" is not only nominated for Best Original Song alongside Karen O's "The Moon Song," Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" and U2's "Ordinary Love," the track is also the No. 1 song in the country. It surpassed Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this week.
