Lady Gaga's Artpop promotion may have turned into a bit of a mess late last year, with less album sales than expected and that filmed/scrapped music video for "Do What U Want," but the Mother Monster does not give up. This weekend, she's set to drop the epic, Hearst Castle set music video for the third official Artpop single "G.U.Y."
And, it wouldn't be Gaga if she didn't have a slightly oddball plan for releasing her music video. "G.U.Y." is set to debut during that hip, youth-centered TV show known as... Dateline NBC.
According to the show's Facebook page (via The Hollywood Reporter), the new music video will air at 8 p.m. EST tomorrow (March 22) on NBC, before the official start of Dateline Saturday Night Mystery.
At least she's getting back out there!
Gaga's deal with NBC this week doesn't begin and end just at Dateline. This morning, she stopped by The Today Show to promote her upcoming artRave: ARTPOP Ball tour and preview the long-anticipated clip for "G.U.Y."
The 30-second teaser mostly features shots of Gaga being the creative that she is, directing others on her vision. But, there are also glamorous shots of the Hearst Castle, shots of synchronized swimmers in a massive pool and Gaga wearing an ornate white feathered outfit.

"G.U.Y." is the third single from Lady Gaga's most recent album, 2013's Artpop and follows "Applause" and "Do What U Want" (feat. R. Kelly). Her new tour, the ARTPOP Ball will kick off May 4 in Ft. Lauderdale with opening act Crayon Pop.
