A new Justin Bieber song has arrived online. Last night (May 29), the oft-troubled 20-year-old pop star dropped a new track titled "Looking For You" on his Soundcloud, and he teamed up with Migos for the occasion.
Clocking in at three minutes, 36 seconds, "Looking For You" is a cluster of big hip-hop/pop hybrid production and Bieber's continued search to cross over into serious musicmaker territory.
Quiet but thunderous smashes of percussion repeat in the beat throughout this song, which also throws in some high hats and headache inducing electronic melodies in the mix.
Lyrically, "Looking For You" finds Bieber and Migos partying in the club, looking for some sweet honey to make theirs for the evening or for life. "I might be the guy that'll make you wanna fall in love again," Bieber teases at one point, over the notably messy percussion. Migos notes that they are not the paparazzi, and neither is Bieber (of course), but they're still on the hunt for some grade-A ladies.
