Recently, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor revealed the mystery of the band’s masks in a new documentary Artsnight. In the trailer for the documentary Taylor said about the masks, “When it comes to all this, all bets are off. You can really let the animal off the chain as far as you really want to go.”
Fellow band member Shawn Crahan also shared his thoughts on the masks, saying that the members don’t “really see ourselves” and that wearing the masks encourages the group to be who they are.
