Gucci Mane Announces New Album 'The Oddfather' To Be Released On His Upcoming Court Date

Gucci Mane is unstoppable, even behind bars.

Since being locked up, Gucci has been communicating with fans from time to time via Twitter and he recently made an announcement everyone has been waiting for: a new album is coming.

According to Vibe, and Gucci's tweets, it's called The Oddfather will be released on July 28.

We're guessing the "So Icy" rapper wants fans to be in good spirits and show some moral support as the album's release date coincides with his court appearance stemming from charges in 2013.

Last September, Guwop was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and for carrying a gun in his native Atlanta.

The gun charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years but under the terms of his agreement, he will only face 39 months.

He will be given a 10-month credit for the time he's served. Gucci is set to be sentenced at his upcoming court appearance.

Earlier this month, Gucci Mane released his Trap House 4 album with guest spots by Chief Keef, Young Scooter and Fredo Santana, and production from Mike WiLL Made It and 808 Mafia.

This release follows the three collaborative albums Gucci dropped back in June. The 1017 Brick Squad head honcho collaborated with Migos, Peewee Longway and Young Thug.

No word yet on who will be featured on this upcoming project but the self-proclaimed Vincent Gigante says the production will be handled by C4.

The album is apparently one of many projects the rapper has been working on.

Back in May, Music Times reported that Gucci Mane announced he will write an autobiography titled Diary Of A Trap God.
