• Lil Wayne Announces Deal With Jay Z Following Cash Money Lawsuit

    For the past several months, publically the lawsuit between Birdman's Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne has been pretty quiet beyond a some sparing of words. However last night we may have seen a major development in what has been a very toxic situation for Weezy's career. Last night at legacy Bay Area hip-hop radio station 106 KMEL's annual Summer Jam, Lil Wayne performed and during his set he took the time to make a very special career-related announcement. Details are very scarce, but according to an Instagram video from the night, Weezy announced to the crowd that he had signed a deal with Jay Z, more specifically saying "I just signed a deal with my motherf*ckin idol Jay Z."

The campaign—which is somewhat a play off of parent company Coca-Cola's inclusion of names on the sides of its Coke and Diet Coke products—will feature a total of 16 possible quotations.
