    Day two has come to a close and that means Electric Daisy Carnival New York 2015 has ended. There were good times to be had with outstanding production, quality music across four stages and good people. We recapped for you yesterday the 10 best things from day 1; so here are the 10 best things that went down during day 2 (and some the whole festival) at EDC New York.

  • RIhanna, DC Comics Fight Over Robyn Trademark for New Magazine

    Oh na na, what's her name? It seems as though Rihanna and DC Comics are in a legal battle over naming trademarks, and it's not looking pretty. As the "American Oxygen" singer looks to trademark her birth name Robyn for a forthcoming publication, the comic books brand is seeking to stop her, claiming that her moniker is too close to Batman's trustworthy sidekick Robin.

  • A$AP Rocky Instagram Art Installation Leads to 100,000 Drop in Followers

    A$AP Rocky is not one to conform to norms, and his progressive approach to the arts led to a loss of more than 100,000 Instagram followers from his account last week. The Harlem rapper posted a long series of images that, when looked at together, formed a rather inviting collage, but as individual pieces tested the patience of followers.

  • Katy Perry & Russell Brand Haven't Spoken Since Comedian Texted Asking for Divorce

    It's been over three years since Katy Perry and Russell Brand divorced, but the "This Is How We Do" singer is continuing to open up about their relationship post-split. In a new interview, Perry revealed that the comedian and her have had no contact since he asked her for a divorce during the filming for her Part of Me documentary.

  • Jamie xx Reportedly Doesn't Clear Persuasions Sample...Except He Totally Did

    In an age where similarities between songs can be the cause of multimillion-dollar lawsuits, you better make damn sure you get your samples cleared. The most recent case of alleged, or at least suggested, foul play was Jamie xx's "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)," which features a prominent sample of The Persuasions' 1972 hit "Good Times." Last week band member/manager Jimmy Hayes stated that the sample hadn't been cleared...but he was wrong.

  • Surfer Blood Robbed, Losses Include Cancer Treatement Funds for Guitarist

    Surfer Blood is reeling after a break-in not only sapped the band of its tour earnings but also resulted in the loss of money gathered for cancer treatments for guitarist Thomas Fekete. The axeman was diagnosed with a form of sarcoma, a rare cancer. He hasn't been able to tour with the group as a result but his bandmates have been using a collections jar to bring in additional funds for his treatment.
