The semi-autobiographical film about the life of Daft Punk and the French house scene in the 1990s, Eden has released its official movie trailer. The film follows Paul, played by Félix de Givry) and his friend Stan as they form their own electronic music producer/DJ duo in Paris. Their film is more than just a rave film as it dives into the character's relationships with their parents, love interests and drug use. -

Starting a streaming service in 2014-2015 is the new trendy thing to do it would appear. However, most companies that set to create a new app or technology that will revolutionize the music business start with their technology and platform and then work to secure the content. This has left others like TIDAL in trouble who have the infrastructure in place, but are still securing the content through various deals. A new service was launched today titled VuHaus by the most unlikely of candidates, public radio stations all across the United States. Unlike its counterparts, it starts with the content that comes daily from its radio affiliates all over the country and has built out the technology from there. -

Ranking PMRC's 'Filthy 15': Madonna, Prince and More Get Dirty
Tipper Gore and a group of other (socially) conservative and influential women gathered 30 years ago to organize the PMRC (or Parents Music Research Center) after listening to the travesty that was Prince's "Darling Nikki." That organization has become the face of the censorship movement in the United States, ruining good album artwork and antagonizing Eminem, Marilyn Manson, Frank Zappa and others for three decades now. When it formed, the group issued a list titled the "Filthy 15," listing tracks that it considered especially repulsive. Music Times is ranking those first 15 songs in terms of potential for wrecking lives. -

The global run of Ultra Music Festivals is getting set to kick off after a moment-packed, albeit rainy Miami edition at the end of March. Two Southern Hemisphere Ultras took place in South Africa and Buenos Aires in February, but this summer will be the EDM festival brand's busiest yet. The biggest event for Ultra this summer will take place in Split, Croatia for the three-day European edition of its festival. They announced the first wave of acts who will be headlining the event in January and now Ultra Europe has rounded out the lineup with additions like Hardwell, Dash Berlin, Solomun, Jamie Jones, Sasha and many more. -

One of the most popular crime shows on U.S. television, NCIS, has expanded to three cities in recent years - Washington D.C., its home base, Los Angeles and recently New Orleans. Now the well-loved show is heading abroad, specifically to the notorious party island of Ibiza. CBS is no longer handling this one, but rather Funny or Die, who has aired the show online. It features an all-star cast including Martin Garrix as a glowstick obsessed lab tech, Steve Aoki, an enterprising detective on the island, Axwell / Ingrosso as crime fighting police pair, Nile Rodgers, a gun-totting policeman who doesn't take no for an answer and many more. -
Nero Talk 'Between II Worlds,' Transforming Live Show At Coachella
UK electronic trio Nero have been very quiet over the past few years, releasing only a few songs over that span, but also setting out on several tours and doing the festival circuit each summer. In 2011, the trio of Joe Ray, Daniel Stephens and Alana Watson released their debut artist album Welcome Reality and it has lasted for this long. Later this year, the "Promises" group will release their second LP, Between II Worlds and they are gearing up with a revamped live show and promo for the album.
