The world of One Direction was rocked last week when—just after leaving the band's "On The Road Again" Tour—Zayn Malik officially quit the boy band. The group has continued on the tour as Directioners continue to recover from the trauma (as reported by our own Carolyn Menyes last week), but obvious logistical issues have come to the fore: What happens to band merchandise that still features Malik prominently (aka most of it)? The group hasn't quite figured that issue out yet but it has solved a slightly simpler issue, apparently having successfully edited the vocalist out of the band's opening montage video for last weekend's show in Johannesburg, South Africa. -
Ariana Grande Adds New 'Honeymoon' Tour Dates with Prince Royce; 40 More Shows Across North America
Ariana Grande has been doing alright on the road and has added a litany of new tour dates, along with the announcement that Puerto Rican standout Prince Royce will serve as opener. The shows will kick off during mid-July, giving the pop star a three-month break to spend with boyfriend Big Sean (that is, if she doesn't mind following him around on his own tour). -

Tech N9ne Annoucnes Tour Promoting New Album 'Special Effects'; Murs and Chris Webby Opening
Tech N9ne will be releasing Special Effects during the first week of May, and although we haven't seen a tracklist yet, the Kansas City emcee has already booked a full list of tour dates. The rapper—joined by Murs, Chris Webby, King 810 (notable for being a metal band, not a hip-hop group), ZUSE and of course his buddy Krizz Kaliko—will cram nearly 50 dates into less than two months. -

The trio also got to touch fish and other "river monsters" with 'River Monsters' host Jeremy Wade. -

Megadeth has confirmed at least one new member for the recording of its new album, declaring this week that Lamb of God's Chris Adler would step behind the kit. There's no word on whether he'll be able to continue on tour with the group, as his primary band is reportedly working on a new album as well, but it's a good start for the thrash icons. -

Eric Prydz has unveiled the next single that will be released from his massive treasure trove of unreleased IDs. The "Every Day" producer has previewed the long-awaited "Generate" in full on his soundcloud prior to its release through his own label, Pryda Friends, on April 13. "Generate" is the second release from Prydz after his remix for CHVRCHES "Tether" dropped last month and immediately shot up to the top of the Beatport charts. T-Pain has released his long-awaited mixtape, 'The Iron Way.' The 20-track project features the likes of Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti, Migos, Bun B, Big K.R.I.T., The Dream and his frequent partner, Kardinal Offishall, among others. Unfortunately, the original track 16, “Girlfriends” that was to feature previously unheard vocals from Aaliyah did not make the cut and may never be released to the public.
