Is Aphex Twin Releasing Hours of Unreleased Music on Soundcloud?
Who doesn't love a good old-fashioned mystery? We know Aphex Twin loves them. Over the past few days, hours of mysterious music has been uploaded to a couple of different soundcloud accounts that appear to be under the guise of Aphex Twin, but no one is totally certain. Richard James has not confirmed or denied the whole affair, though he is pretty tightlipped about most things that aren't technology. -
Charli XCX Records Japanese Versions of 'Boom Clap,' 'Break The Rules' [LISTEN]
Even though Charli XCX's great new album Sucker was released in the United States on Dec. 15, it doesn't come out in Japan until Feb. 8 for whatever reason. As a special treat for her Japanese fans who have been forced to wait so long on the album (the ones who haven't illegally downloaded it, anyway), XCX has recorded Japanese versions of two of the album's singles as bonus tracks: "Boom Clap" and "Break The Rules," which you can check out below. In true J-Pop fashion, these versions find XCX singing mostly in Japanese, but switching over to English for some key phrases (apparently there's no Japanese translation for "boom clap"). -

Gotti must be pretty proud of this car, because there's even a close-up of its engine. -

Chance the Rapper's upcoming album with his band The Social Experiment, titled Surf, was slated for release in 2014, though it never ended up coming out. Save for a censored tracklist posted to Instagram and an interview with Billboard three months ago, the Chicago rapper has remained mostly silent about the new project. Thankfully more information has now surfaced in the form of a teaser video starring supermodel Cara Delevingne. -

If you, at some point in the future, will need to direct someone toward a specific "sick beat," you had better ask Taylor Swift first. On the back of the success of her massive album 1989 and its lead single "Shake It Off," the pop megastar has trademarked the phrase "This sick beat." -
Nathan Barnatt Dances to Skrillex's "Ease My Mind" With Niki & The Dove [WATCH]
Nathan Barnatt is known for his creative and at times wacky videos, and his new clip for Skrillex's "Ease My Mind" featuring the vocals of Niki & The Dove is no different. Taken from Moore's 2014 album Recess, "Ease My Mind" has been one of the standouts from the album and has remained one of the lasting singles to come from the album. Barnatt's video does what he does best, bringing his whacked out dance moves to the Skrillex-crafted beat. He manages to mold his odd personality and quick editing into a storyline about love and love lost that fits with the theme of the song. If it were not for the fact that Skrillex has pretty twisted videos and Nathan Barnatt is somewhat of a YouTube celebrity, someone might mistake this for his official video. -
