• Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston Both Snubbed by Academy for Oscar Nominations

Now Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie really do have something in common besides both being married to Brad Pitt at one point or another. This morning, both of them were snubbed by the Academy when it came time to announce the official 2015 Oscar nominations. Jolie was angling for Best Director for her (actually quite amazing) work on "Unbroken," while many believed that Aniston would be acknowledged for her work in "Cake."
  • Has Rosie Perez Been Fired from 'The View'?

Rumor has it that Rosie Perez is already out at ABC's "The View" after only four months. The actress joined the roundtable discussion last fall and has not been the best fit. Aside from many on-camera flubs she has reportedly had a hard time handling all the vicious fighting between Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell. Perez was scheduled to take the month of January off to star in Broadway's "Fish in the Dark" and we are hearing that it is unlikely she will be returning to the chatfest. We told you yesterday that ABC is considering killing off "The View" altogether after this season and replacing it with an additional hour of "Good Morning America." A source told FOX411 that the revolving door of hosts is only a detriment at this point."You can't keep hiring and firing, trying to save a sinking ship There is no leadership on the show. It's the news division that pays for 'The View,' so the debate now is whether the show is iconic enough to pour money into revamping, or do away with altogether. At this stage, the feeling is that it's pretty much done. They may test a remodeled version for one more season, but that would require work and top brass aren't sure that it is worth it," said the source.
  • Celebs Are Nervous About Attending Paris Couture Fashion Shows Later This Month

Usually, Paris's Couture Fashion Week is loaded with A-listers vying for a seat in the front row. Not only is it about being there to check out the latest collections first, but stars like Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga want to be photographed there. It is almost as if being in attendance proves that you are a fashion maven and in a class by yourself. At least, that is how it usually goes. Unfortunately, this January is different, and Paris is one of the last places celebrities want to risk traveling to right now.According to a report by Page Six, what is usually the hottest ticket in town is looking like it will be a dud later this month. We are hearing that fewer fashion editors and clients will be making the journey to France for the upcoming shows, which include Chanel, Versace, Christian Dior and Valentino. Fashion editors such as "Vogue's" Anna Wintour and Anna Dello Russo are usually spotted there, as well as celebrities from Kardashian to Gaga.Organizers have said they are having harder times trying to fill seats for their presentations. We are told security issues are a concern, with some skittish to fly to Paris after the terrorist attack on "Charlie Hebdo" last week.
  • Bill Cosby and His Team of Investigators Already Taking Aim at Chloe Goins for Speaking with the LAPD

After learning that Chloe Goins filed criminal charges against him with the LAPD, of course Bill Cosby's team has come out swinging. The young model's attorney requested that investigators get a search warrant for The Playboy Mansion, where the incident allegedly happened. They claim that surveillance tapes may provide solid proof to bolster Goins's claims. Now Cosby's team is pushing for the same footage. The comedian actually used to be friends with Hugh Hefner, and he is hoping that the head of the Playboy empire will give him evidence that might prevent any kind of criminal charges from being filed. According to a report by TMZ, Cosby's team is looking for surveillance footage and the names of employees who worked on the 2008 night in question. What is more than a little interesting is the fact that Cosby has also expressed concern about whether or not any former Playmates might have made similar claims against him. If Hefner knows of any, then you better believe Cosby's team wants to get to them before they come forward on their own. While fighting back a continuous onslaught of rumors and allegations, Cosby's business continues to tank.
  • Joe Giudice's Wedding Ring Is Off as He Juggles Four Kids While Teresa Is in Prison

  • 'Birdman' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' Lead the Oscar Nominations with 9 Each as Aniston, Adams and Jolie Were All Overlooked

Usually in the weeks leading up to the Oscar nominations, a pattern from other awards shows begins to develop and we kind of have a clue of who will ultimately be nominated for Hollywood's top prize. This year is a bit different because so many of the categories are wide open with numerous strong contenders. This morning, "Star Wars" director JJ Abrams and last year's Best Director winner Alfonso Cuaron announced the first 12 categories live while Chris Pine and Academy President Cheryl Boone Pine followed with the next 12 categories. When all was said and done, "Birdman" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel" are leading the nominations with nine each. There are also a few surprises in there. Jennifer Aniston has been acknowledged with a few best actress nominations for "Cake," but she was not on the Academy's radar and neither was perennial favorite Amy Adams. Also missing was a nod for Angelina Jolie's directing in "Unbroken."Check out a rundown of some of the major categories and tell us your thoughts!
  • Gwyneth Paltrow Claims That Brad Pitt Was 'Too Good' for Her

While Gwyneth Paltrow still has her share of haters — mainly because she seems so out of touch with how most people in the real world live — she does seem to have softened a bit in the months since announcing her split from Chris Martin. Rather than being focused on material things and coming across as typically arrogant, Paltrow's interviews have had a different tone. She did a guest spot on Howard Stern's show today and was more than willing to discuss some of her high-profile relationships from when she was younger. When asked about her romance with Ben Affleck from more than 15 years ago, Paltrow said they were off and on because he really was not ready to have a girlfriend then. Of course, Brad Pitt also came up, and when asked about their split in 1997, Paltrow actually took the blame."I definitely fell in love with him. He was so gorgeous and sweet. I mean, he was Brad Pitt! I was such a kid, I was 22 when we met. It's taken me until 40 to get my head out of my ass. You can't make that decision when you're 22 years old ... I wasn't ready, and he was too good for me. I didn't know what I was doing. I think that when you're in your 20s, you can get swept up in [good looks]. When you're a kid, you tend to be more shallow and you're also immature, so you think that being with a good looking person validates yourself in some kind of way. It's not true," explained the actress.
  • Survivor's Issue of 'Charlie Hebdo' Sells Out as France Arrests 54 in Wide-Sweeping Roundup

Renald Luzier, the cartoonist who drew the cover of the Survivor's Issue of "Charlie Hebdo" is an incredibly lucky man. Had he not overslept last week, he would have attended that ill-fated editorial meeting that was ambushed by two gunmen in Paris. As one of the surviving members of the staff, he stressed the importance of designing the kind of cover that the terrorists did not want them to create. As "Charlie Hebdo" has managed to continue on, French police and investigators have now made 54 arrests across the country in connection with the most devastating attack on French soil in 50 years.French prosecutors have been ordered to crack down on anyone spewing hateful speech, anti-Semitic tones and those who are blatantly glorifying terrorism. Twenty people died, including the three gunmen, in last week's horrific wave of violence, and the French government believes it is necessary to take a pro-active approach now. Obviously, something was overlooked before because all three militants were supposedly known to the French and U.S. governments butt no one realized what was being planned. There is a chance that they were part of a sleeper cell that was lying dormant with an already-established plan for three years. Once they were activated, they would have already known what to do. By making arrests now the French are likely hoping to clip the wings of people who could be a significant problem later. The French people have remained united throughout everything and many countries across the globe have joined in supporting them. The newest issue of "Charlie Hebdo" sold out in minutes this morning, Jan. 14.
  • ABC May Kill Off Hostility-Plagued 'The View' in Favor of Adding Another Hour to 'GMA'

"The View's" first season without veteran reporter Barbara Walters may end up being its last on the air if something does not radically change — fast. Pairing Whoopi Goldberg with Rosie O'Donnell has once again proven to be a fiasco onscreen that turns viscous backstage. Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez seem unable to handle the stress and infighting caused by the other two and the ratings are in the toilet. At first ABC was looking ahead to next season and trying to figure out who it could bring in to help turn the show around, but now it is instead contemplating putting "The View" out of its misery after Season 18 ends. According to a report by "The Daily Mail," ABC may instead opt to replace the show with an extended hour of "Good Morning America," which already gets great ratings."The brass at ABC feels like they've tried to do everything possible to breathe new life into this show and are debating about replacing it with an additional hour of the well-rated 'Good Morning America.' ABC feels it's exhausted their options with 'The View' and now it's time to expand the existing franchise, 'GMA.' They feel that since 'GMA' is already beating NBC's 'Today' during the first two hours of the broadcast, why not extend the morning broadcast?" says a source close to the network.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Didn't Have a Family Visit Yet Because She Is Going Through Drug Detox

When Teresa Giudice turned herself in to begin serving her 15-month sentence at Danbury Federal Correctional Institute, the focus was initially on the family that she was leaving behind. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" husband Joe Giudice is now in charge of taking care of their four daughters, something he has never done before, and the media began speculating on Teresa's life without hair extensions and a new chore list. As it turns out, an even bigger problem is plaguing the reality star: an addiction to prescription pills.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa has been using Xanax and Valium for the last five years, and she has also dabbled with human growth hormones to put muscle on her lean frame. That means she is now experiencing some major detox behind bars. According to the source, Teresa could be afflicted with symptoms for as long as two weeks as everything leaves her body."Teresa would get things through her friend whose husband is a doctor and two other doctors. It's going to be a [major] detox. I warned her about that. It's going to be hell. It's a cold withdrawal. You just detox. It's a really brutal withdrawal. She'll get sick. She will get diarrhea. She'll have actual DTs [delirium tremens, aka 'the shakes']," said the source.
  • Kate Gosselin Admits to Being Lonely, Doesn't Deny Dating Millionaire Jeff Prescott

We recently told you that we were hearing that Kate Gosselin has been dating a millionaire by the name of Jeff Prescott for the last several months. The reality star has said for years that dating and love are not even on her radar because she is so busy doing laundry and cleaning up after her eight kids, but it sure seemed like she was having a good time with Prescott, who is worth an estimated $30 million. Gosselin has not exactly denied the link, but she has done something a bit shocking: She is now admitting to being lonely!Gosselin, currently appearing on "Celebrity Apprentice," recently discussed dating with "Access Hollywood" and admitted that even her kids would like to see her find a man."I'm definitely lonely and that [part of my life] is definitely missing. As time goes on it's more so, and the kids are mentioning it more and more. To have a man, a male presence in the house, I just feel it would be so much more balanced — [for] the boys especially. But the kids see the strain of like taking care of the house and all the stuff that goes wrong on a daily basis, and that kind of stuff. They see me baring that load by myself. I'm afraid of online dating. I can shop like nobody's business online, but I feel like that's where it should end," explained Gosselin.
