    Bonnaroo has announced its 2014 lineup through its annual BLAM! festivities. Bonnaroovians tuned in at watch parties across the country. Kanye West was among the headliners announced, so upon leaving the New York City watch party at Le Poisson Rouge, there was an ongoing tally of who was for or against a Yeezus appearance. But whether you're pro-'Ye or no-'Ye, this lineup is heard to beat. So here it is. The 2014 Bonnaroo lineup:

  • Paul Colby, famed owner of New York venue The Bitter End, passes away at age 96

    Paul Colby, the man behind Greenwich Village venue The Bitter End, passed away last Thursday from natural causes. He was 96. Colby owned the venue since 1974 and is credited with jumpstarting the careers of numerous musicians and comedians. As The Observer points out, The Bitter End announced the death of its "colonel" in a statement in its website.
  • Trent Reznor says he will 'absolutely not' work with the Grammys again

    Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age are set to co-headline a tour across Australia and New Zealand. In anticipation for the upcoming shows, NIN's Trent Reznor spoke with New Zealand's 3 News (via Consequence of Sound) about what he's been working on and, inevitably, the topic of the Grammy's came up.
  • Jimmy Fallon and Will Smith bust out The Carlton during their 'Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing' sketch on The Tonight Show [WATCH]

    Last night, Will Smith became the first guest on the inaugural episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He and Fallon executed the Carlton together in a sketch called "The Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing." The two men were decked out in overalls, Timberlands and colorful T-shirts as they attempted moves such as the "Cabbage Patch," the "Running Man," the "Robot," the "Pop and Lock" and more.
  • Annie Clark talks new self-titled St. Vincent album

    February 25 marks the release of St. Vincent's self-titled fourth solo album, the follow up to 2011's Strange Mercy. 31-year-old singer-guitarist Annie Clark spoke with Rolling Stone in a recent interview about the upcoming record saying that she gets her best ideas for songs while she's trying to fall asleep.
  • The Walkmen perform 'We've Been Had' as last song of their 'final show' [WATCH]

    As previously reported, The Walkmen have announced an indefinite hiatus to work on solo projects. Although the band played what they had advertised as their "final show" in December, they "got back together" again in New Orleans over the weekend to perform for the Rock On Foundation's first Alt-Star Party in celebration of the NBA All-Star Game.
  • Prince to appear at the 2014 Brit Awards with 3rdEyeGirl

    Prince, who is currently performing a string of pop-up live shows in the UK, is set to appear at this week's Brit Awards. According to a statement on the Brit Awards official website (via NME), he will present the first award of the night along with his band 3rdEyeGirl.
  • AC/DC to record new music, plan 40th anniversary tour

    AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson has announced that the band is about to begin recording new music and planning a special 40th anniversary tour. Speaking with Florida radio station 98.7 the Gater he said, "Well, you'll be the first to know. Really, because we've been denying anything, 'cause we weren't sure...But I think we'll be going into the studio in May in Vancouver. Which means, we should be getting ready."
  • Christina Aguilera announces engagement to Matthew Rutler over Twitter

    Christina Aguilera appears to have had a momentous Valentines Day yesterday. The pop star and coach on The Voice shared a picture of her huge engagement ring on Twitter. "He asked and I said......", the tweet read. It showed Aguilera and longtime boyfriend Matthew Rutler holding hands with a big rock on Aguilera's finger as they stood on a terrace overlooking a tropical beach.
  • Chris Brown is being sued for allegedly beating up a man over a basketball foul

    Chris Brown is now allegedly declaring allegiance to the Bloods, according to SPIN, after beating someone up on a basketball court. A man named Malcolm Ausbon filed a lawsuit with the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles on Thursday claiming that he called a foul on Brown during a game at the area 24 Hour Fitness and that Brown then held onto the ball in protest. Brown allegedly threatened to "put these hands on you" and declared himself a Blood.
  • Foals summer festival performances to be 'bigger' than ever

    According to NME, Foals have promised that their upcoming slots at festivals this summer will be "bigger" than ever. The Oxford band is headlining both Parklife and Bestival this summer, having debuted as a major festival headliner at Latitude in 2013.
  • Kanye West Tells Sway Calloway and Charlamagne Tha God to 'Shut the f--k up'

    At the end of December, we reported Kanye West saying he would hold off on ranting for "six months at least." Well it hasn't even been two months, and Yeezy has already broken his "vow." As Noisey points out, West gave an impassioned speech during his February 13 Yeezus show in Pennsylvania. This time he calls out radio personalities Charlamagne Tha God and Sway Calloway, both of whom got West riled up when they had him on their shows.
  • Moby to headline Global Green USA's pre-Oscar party with Crystal Method

    According to Billboard, Moby has been slated to headline Global Green USA's 11th Pre-Oscar Party later this month. As the article notes, the electronic music veteran's set will take place February 26 at the Avalan Hollywood. The "zero-waste" fundraising party hopes to bring Hollywood's elite activists and eco-conscious celebrities together. Crystal Method has been announced as the DJ for the evening.
  • Gathering of the Juggalos no longer taking place in Kaiser, Missouri after locals raise hell

    Last week, it was announced that the 15th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos would be held at a park in Kaiser, Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks. Tickets went on sale last Friday, and logding options sold out quickly. "It's gonna be hopefully a really special place," Violent J told Juggalo news site, Faygoluvers. "We've just got all of our fingers and toes and dicks crossed hoping everything is perfect man." Now it seems that plan has changed after locals freaked out over having what the FBI have labeled a "gang" setting up camp in their hometown and have petitioned against the event.
  • Drake 'disgusted' after Rolling Stone puts Philip Seymour Hoffman on cover of new issue instead of him

    Earlier, we reported that Drake had a few choice words to say in his Rolling Stone interview about Macklemore's apology text to Kendrick Lamar after the Grammys. Now, we've come to find that this interview was supposed to be part of a larger cover story about the Toronto rapper. Instead of putting Drake on the cover, however, the magazine opted to feature an image of Philip Seymour Hoffman, who passed away earlier this month.
