  • NFL May Have to Reinstate Ray Rice in November after Final Appeal Hearing

It looks like Ray Rice could be back in NFL action within just a few short weeks. Rice was suspended indefinitely at the start of the current season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after that now-infamous elevator security tape was released showing Rice knocking out Janay Palmer with one punch. The general public was outraged to learn Rice was originally punished with just a two-game suspension and Goodell had to act quickly to try and save face, so he threw the proverbial book at Rice. A final appeal hearing is scheduled for mid-November, and it could easily swing in Rice's favor.
  • 'RHONJ' Star Teresa Giudice Losing Endorsements after Being Sentenced to Jail for Fraud Conviction

It was not that long ago that Teresa Giudice was juggling endorsement deals and really making a nice chunk of cash because of her being recognized from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Unfortunately for Giudice, companies do not like to affiliate themselves with shady people, and after her fraud conviction and imminent prison sentence those endorsement deals are evaporating. The first to go was a lucrative deal with Fabulicious Gelato bars.
  • Jesse Matthew Indicted for Attempted Murder in 2005 Sexual Assault While Investigators Wait for Forensic Results in Hannah Graham Case

Jesse Matthew, the suspect directly linked to the Hannah Graham case, may not be talking but that is not stopping investigators from putting together a series of cases against him. On Saturday, remains were found in a rural area near where Matthew once lived and, while authorities are waiting for forensic testing to come back so they can make a positive identification, they believe it was Graham's body that was recovered. While working on the missing UVA student's case, police have been able to link Matthew with several other crimes against various women, and on Monday, Oct. 20, Matthew was indicted on an attempted murder charge in a 2005 sexual assault.
  • Oscar Pistorius Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison for Valentine's Day Killing of Reeva Steenkamp

Just two years ago, Oscar Pistorius was best known for being an Olympic track-and-field star most commonly referred to as "the blade runner." Now that same man has been sentenced to five years behind bars for the Valentine's Day 2013 killing of Reeva Steenkamp. Judge Thokozile Masipa is known for delivering harsh sentences, so many were surprised when she tossed out a murder charge in favor of culpable homicide, but from the start of this morning's proceedings in South Africa it was clear Pistorius was going to prison.
  • Russian Tennis Federation's President Shamil Tarpischev Fined, Suspended Over 'Sexist' Remarks About Serena, Venus Williams

When Shamil Tarpischev, president of the Russian Tennis Federation, sat down for a joint interview with former Russian tennis star Elena Dementieva on "Evening Urgant," he thought he would be able to crack a few jokes to warm up the audience. Instead, Tarpischev crossed the line almost instantly by taking a shot at Venus and Serena Williams — two of the biggest names in tennis. While laughing, Tarpischev referred to the ladies as "The Williams brothers," a comment that left Dementieva looking stunned as the audience did not know how to react. He ultimately got fined and suspended over his "sexist" remarks.

  • NBC's Dr. Nancy Snyderman Facing Credibility Issues, May Lose Job After Violating Ebola Self-Quarantine

Nancy Snyderman's mandatory Ebola quarantine is set to end early this week, but her problems may just be beginning. NBC's chief medical editor was with ABC before hopping over to NBC in 2006, and over the years she had become a trusted voice in educating the public about a variety of medical topics. She and her crew were in Liberia reporting on the Ebola crisis when a cameraman, Ashoko Mukpo, contracted the virus. In response to his diagnosis, Snyderman told viewers she and the rest of her team were returning to the States and would voluntarily quarantine themselves. A week later, they were spotted getting take-out food in New Jersey, a decision that led to a mandatory quarantine and backlash from the general public.

  • Human Remains Found May Belong to Hannah Graham as Investigators Work to Tie Jesse Matthew to Several Crimes

University of Virginia student Hannah Graham was first reported missing five weeks ago, and over the weekend a significant finding turned this open case into a death investigation. Sgt. Dale Terry of the Chesterfield Sheriff's Department was with a small search team ready to call it a day when they made a gruesome discovery. Behind an abandoned home nearly 8 miles from where Graham was last seen, Terry and his team discovered a skull and bones scattered across a creek bed with a pair of black pants nearby. While it will take forensic testing to be certain whether these are the remains of Graham, a continued search for her has been called off. Investigators are also working to tie Jesse Matthew to several crimes.
  • 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's' Erica Dixon Parties with Lil' Wayne as Christina Milian Is Nowhere in Sight

If you're a fan of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta," then you're already familiar with Erica Dixon, Scrappy's baby mama. Dixon comes across as a fairly straight shooter who seems to have minimal luck with men — not that it bothers her much. Dixon is clearly her own woman and she is not about to settle for another player, which is what makes the fact that she was spotted partying with Lil' Wayne so interesting. And Christina Milian was nowhere in sight.
  • Soap Stars' Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson Share Dramatic Blowout While Filming 'The Real housewives Of Beverly Hills'

Both ladies were hired by Bravo to give RHOBH a shot of new energy and while they were playing nice at first, it got ugly pretty quickly.

One yearly tradition includes the family gathering at Elizabeth's Sandringham House for lunch on Christmas day. While Kate, William and little Prince George have already been invited to this years' occasion, the rest of the Middleton family has been left off of the guest list.
  • Petition Launched Against Toys R Us for Selling 'Breaking Bad' Action Figures that Carry Bags of Pretend Crystal Meth as an Accessory

"Breaking Bad" might have been a popular cable show that picked up trophies by the armload in its final seasons, but it was never intended to appeal to children. That is common sense, since people try to ingrain into their kids' heads that drugs are bad. Of course, "Breaking Bad" has had tons of merchandise to go along with its popularity, just like any other successful series, but did you know there is a line of action figures currently under fire? Toys R Us is apparently selling the toys which have bages of pretend crystal meth as an accessory, and one Florida mother has launched a campaign against the retailer with a petition.
  • After Latest Scandal, Is Matt Lauer the Most Disliked News Anchor in the US?

Every few years it seems Matt Lauer gets hit with some really harsh criticism as well as questions regarding his true character. The "Today" show anchor was at one point a beloved member of America's top morning news team, but his personal currency has dropped in recent years. Just this past week details in his marriage became public knowledge and once again it is making the newsman look bad. Back in 2006, Lauer's wife Annette Roque filed for divorce and claimed in the official documents to be suffering "cruel and inhumane" treatment at the hands of her husband. The divorce petition was unsealed this week, leaving Lauer wide open for public scrutiny again. Does this scandal make him the most disliked anchor in the U.S.?

  • Ice-T Likens Jumping into the Cast of 'Law & Order: SVU' to Taking Part in a Bank Robbery

Danny Pino had his work cut out for him back in 2011 when he joined the cast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Show veteran Ice-T was talking about the transition while at the Paley Center for Media this week, and he likened it to pulling off a bank robbery.

  • Penalty Retrial Jury to Be Seated Next Week in Jodi Arias Trial as Defense Team Fights to Get Death Penalty Off the Table

Selecting a jury in the penalty retrial of convicted murderer Jodi Arias has been easier than many first anticipated. Arias was found guilty of murdering her on-again/off-again boyfriend Travis Alexander in June 2008. Arias changed her story several times while on trial, but what was clear was that stabbing Alexander 30 times, slitting his throat and then shooting the victim seemed like a display of overkill rather than self-defense. Jurors originally agreed and convicted Arias, but then the case went sideways during the first penalty phase. Some 300 potential jurors were interviewed for the second shot at a penalty phase in Arias's case, and the official panel is expected to be seated Tuesday, Oct. 21. Her defense team is fighting to get the death penalty off the table.

In this instance there was no autopsy performed and so pin pointing the exact cause of death may never be possible.
  • Experts Say a Travel Ban Won't Stop Ebola from Spreading

It seems like the CDC is rewriting its protocol and rules regarding the Ebola virus on a daily basis. In the last week, we have learned that a hospital praised for its skilled care was not given the proper tools to treat those infected with Ebola and travel restrictions seem to change constantly. Even nurses such as Amber Vinson, who was confirmed to have touched base with the CDC before hopping a plane from Dallas to Ohio and back again, was misdirected in proper procedures. All of the conflicting ideas and confusion has caused many to think a travel ban might be the obvious way to go, but expert sources disagree, saying a ban will not stop Ebola from spreading.

Lufti has also tried to incorporate himself into the inner circles of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Jackson and Courtney Love when they were struggling to find a lifeline. Lufti has often been referred to as "shady" because those close to targeted celebrities seem to believe he is looking to take financial advantage of those who are struggling mentally. He claims, however, that he simply understands troubled celebs and wants to help them. Lufti's most recent target has been Amanda Bynes, whom he escorted into a treatment facility, and he convinced her to board that flight back to Los Angeles. That ultimately led to her current hospitalization. Lufti decided to finally address the rumors and insinuations in a letter that ran at XOJane.
