Jessie J Announces New York, Los Angeles Shows In Support Of New Album 'Sweet Talker'
In support of her upcoming album Sweet Talker, British pop star Jessie J has announced two intimate U.S. shows in October, according to a press release. On Oct. 9, she will be performing at New York's Gramercy Theater, followed by an Oct. 14 performance at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of Sweet Talker on the same day. -
Lupe Fiasco Shares New Song "Pu$$y" Featuring Billy Blue [LISTEN]
We may not have a release date yet for Lupe Fiasco's next album Tetsuo & Youth, but today the Chicago rapper dropped a new single to tide us over. "Pu$$y" features production by MoeZ'art and a hook from Miami rapper Billy Blue, with cover artwork featuring a photograph of Pussy Riot's Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, who I'm sure will love being associated with a song like this. -
Metallica To Release 'Live Metallica: By Request 2014' Box Set Of Every 2014 Concert
According to Consequence of Sound, Metallica will be releasing recordings of all 27 shows they performed this year in a massive box set titled Live Metallica: By Request 2014. The collection will include Metallica's controversial headlining set at Glastonbury and their acoustic set at the MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert. The other 25 shows were part of Metallica's "By Request Tour," in which their setlists were chosen by fans. -
The Rolling Stones Announce 'From The Vault' Live Album Series, First Two Releases Coming In November
Though the Rolling Stones haven't released a new studio album since 2005's A Bigger Bang, they have released four live albums since then, and this year we'll be getting some more. Ultimate Classic Rock reports that this November, the Stones will be releasing two live albums to kick off their 'From The Vault' series: Hampton Coliseum - Live in 1981, which documents a show during the band's Tattoo You tour, and L.A. Forum - Live in 1975, which comes from the band's "Tour of the Americas," their first with guitarist Ronnie Wood. -

The video, directed by lead singer Paul Banks, doesn't feature any members of Interpol, but rather documents a group of boxers as they exercise and train in a gym, so it's not exactly what you'd expect from such a dark, ethereal band. -
The Rembrandts Perform 'Friends' Theme Song At Central Perk In Manhattan [WATCH]
It's been 20 years since the premiere of beloved sitcom Friends, and to celebrate, a coffee shop modeled after Central Perk, one of the show's signature settings, has been opened in Manhattan. The shop features plenty of Friends memorabilia, and last night (Sept. 16), there was even a special musical performance by the Rembrandts, who sang the show's maddeningly infectious theme song, "I'll Be There For You." -

Rush To Release 'R40' Box Set Of Concert Films For 40th Anniversary
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of their debut album, Rolling Stone reports that Canadian prog trio Rush will be releasing a DVD box set titled R40, which compiles five of the band's previously released concert films along with a bonus disc of previously unreleased live footage, including a full concert from 1974 with original drummer John Rutsey. R40 will come on 10 DVDs, or 6 Blu-rays, and is set for release on Nov. 11th. -

At The Disco shared a live video of their cover of Queen’s classic hit “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and though it’s not quite the real thing, they still do a pretty faithful rendition of the song. -

Jack White's Third Man Records To Release Second Paramount Records Box Set In November
Last year, Jack White's Third Man Records teamed up with guitarist John Fahey's Revenant Records to release The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records, Vol. 1 (1917-1927), a six-LP set compiling remastered recordings from legendary blues label Paramount Records. Today, Rolling Stone reports that the collection's second volume, titled The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records, Volume 2 (1928-1932), is set for release on Nov. 18. -

Belgian EDM festival Tomorrowland has shared the official Aftermovie of this year's event, which took place in Boom, Belgium on July 18, 19, and 20, and again on July 25, 26, and 27. The Aftermovie is an annual recap film that documents some of the award-winning festival's highlights. Some headliners at this year's Tomorrowland festival included Steve Aoki, Skrillex, Diplo, Tiësto, and David Guetta (who had a mild existential crisis on stage, which was of course gloriously captured on video). -
Lollapalooza Announces 2015 Dates In South America, Jack White Rumored To Headline
Alternative rock megafestival Lollapalooza has announced that it will be returning to South America for three consecutive weekends in March 2015. Lollapalooza Chile will take place in Santiago on March 14 and 15, Lollapalooza Argentina will take place in Buenos Aires on March 21 and 22, and Lollapalooza Brazil will take place in Sao Paolo on March 28 and 29. -
Manchester Orchestra Releases Surprise Album "Hope," Announces Tour [FULL SCHEDULE]
Although they’ve already released an album this year, Atlanta indie rock band Manchester Orchestra announced today that they have already recorded another album, Alternative Press reports. Hope, which has been released digitally today and is set for a vinyl release on Nov. 18, is a stripped down, more acoustic reimagining of their most recent album Cope, released back in April. In support of this new album, Manchester Orchestra has also announced a string of tour dates, which will run from October to December. -
August Alsina Collapses On Stage, "No Love" Singer Taken To Hospital [WATCH]
During a performance at New York's Irving Plaza last night, Sept. 15, R&B singer August Alsina suddenly collapsed and fell off stage.
