Brits have found a new way to stay relevant: Streaming. New numbers from BPI indicate that nearly 20 percent of all music streamed via major services such as Spotify is from a UK performer. Among those adding to the high total are Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Calvin Harris. -

Garth Brooks Announces Pair of Greensboro, NC Tour Dates, Minneapolis Count Rises to 10 Concerts
The Garth Brooks Machine rolls on and it seems his tour will be heading back to the East Coast before he starts thinking about West. Brooks had us thinking he was heading toward the opposite coast when he announced that the fifth stop on his comeback tour would be in Minneapolis, far more left than any of his dates up to that point. He switched direction again on Wednesday when he announced that he and wife Trisha Yearwood would be heading to Greensboro, NC for a pair of dates. It will be Brooks' first appearance in the Tar Heel State in more than 16 years according to The Boot. -

Paul Revere, the organist and bandleader for Paul Revere and The Raiders—one of the more under-appreciated gems of the rock 'n' roll era-has died, according to Rolling Stone. The band's official website didn't reveal a cause of death but it's believed that Revere had been dealing with cancer during the last year with his life. -
