The least reunion-y Nirvana reunion occurred over the weekend in the band's hometown of Aberdeen, WA. Fans were excited that bassist Krist Novolselic, drummer Dave Grohl and additional live guitarist Pat Smear came together to team-up with a panel of live vocalists for the band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction. This was nothing like that. -

'All of You: The Last Tour' will feature four discs of material, some of which "have previously been available in a patchy and piecemeal fashion. This is the first time that a substantial body of the material recorded during the tour has been brought together in one collection," according to the press release issued (via JazzTimes). -

The BBC has announced the speaker for the annual John Peel lecture, which will be held on October 16 and broadcast via BBC Four on October 19. Iggy Pop will be giving this year's address. The theme of his talk will be "Free Music in a Capitalist Society." -

'Frozen' Soundtrack Falls out of Billboard Top 10 for First Time during 2014, Following 39-Week Run
As we noted earlier this week, the Billboard 200 Top 10 was dominated by new albums this week, with seven drops placing within the first five percent of the chart. That meant that after a 39-week run, the Frozen Original Motion Picture Soundtrack fell out beyond tenth place. -
