The mixtape has features from Rich Homie Quan, Chief Keef, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, PeeWee Longway, Pizzle and Young Dolph. It has a mix of previously released records, as well as some new records, which must have been recorded before Mane was sent away.

Premiering the remix at the holiday party in Los Angeles for his label, OWLSA, Sonny Moore, also known as Skrillex, performed a frenetic 70 minute set, which included the new Bey remix. Diplo confirmed it was a Jack Ü remix on his Instagram, saying it was a present for Chrimbus.

    Possibly the most ambitious project ever undertaken by Above & Beyond, the trance super-trio of Tony McGuinness, Paavo Siljamäk and Jono Grant, set out to create an entire album's worth of material from their own back catalog and flip it from its electronic form into a playable acoustic arrangement. Much of 2013 was spent on this project, rearranging some of their existing work, finding the right musicians and rehearsing in anticipation their first show at the Porchester Theater in London on June 19, 2013. After premiered all of the work there at the Porchester Theater, the group took the newly remade sounds from the small London venue outside to the much larger, historic Greek Theater. One of the highlights of 2013 for the group, they got the whole thing on video and created a recap to give fans the highlights of what happened.

The duo spoke with "Time Out" magazine in preparation of the show to speak about Jack Ü, the New York club scene and the aforementioned show at MSG.Even for a massive venue like Madison Square Garden, which can pack close to 20,000 people, Skrillex still holds the belief that it will "feel intimate and personal.""We don't have a real rock-star approach with security all around us. It'll be a party. We'll have lots of special guests come out," he says.Diplo adds, "You'll be hearing some of the Jack Ü songs we've done, live, for the first time. The artists we've cut the records with will be performing with us. Both of us take it very seriously; if you've ever seen us perform live, you'll know the production value is insane."He even invited the entire New York Knicks team to shoot warm-ups during their set. Unfortunately for Diplo, the team will be in Los Angeles for a game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but that is probably for the best since the team probably would miss most of those pre-game shots.Diplo gave an honest opinion on the EDM scene, proclaiming it "dead."

Second-week sales reportedly have dropped to 135,000, which is the fourth highest for the week and earns him his third gold record at more than 500,000 albums sold. The album sales include equivalents from album streams.

    Google is once again looking to change the way we search. The Silicon Valley giant has just revealed its new lyric searching system that allows users to search for song lyrics, and the words will come up as a native Google result. The result pulls from Google Play's growing library of music. A link to the lyrics can also be found under an official YouTube link.One source told "Billboard" how Google was able to get this done, saying, "They're creating the database themselves. They've done direct licensing deals with the major publishers to enable the service, and they're doing it internally at the moment. The data isn't crowd-sourced; there's a team of people working to create the database."This is a huge blow to sites like AZLyrics and Metrolyrics, which have benefited tremendously from the status quo.

That is the fate facing longstanding Toronto venue Guvernment after an announcement in May that the 18-year-old venue would hold its last show this January. The venue has announced who will be playing the final week of shows, including a fitting send-off for the venue. Longtime New York City DJ Danny Tenaglia will headline Saturday, Jan. 10, Cosmic Gate will headline Saturday, Jan. 17, and Armin van Buuren and Knife Party will headline back-to back weekends Friday, Jan. 23, and Saturday, Jan. 24. As reported by Dancing Astronaut, the send-off party Jan. 31 will fittingly feature Toronto native deadmau5. He has promised to leave the final hour of Guvernment to its longtime resident Matt Oliver, but until that point, the "Strobe" producer will command the last night for the Toronto venue.The venue has seen just about every big name in dance music, rock and pop come through its doors, and has been a staple of the Toronto dance music scene and nightlife and pivotal to Canadian electronic music. Calvin Harris posted the film poster online that shows a hooded chase on the cover in a futuristic cityscape, but also reveals that Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ / producer superstar will be costarring next to Grenier in the film titled Hyde. In another twist, Flying Lotus will be providing the soundtrack to the movie.
