iLoveMakonnen Performed 'Tuesday' on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' [WATCH]
Drake label OVO signee Makonnen Sheran, professionally known as iLoveMakonnen, made his television debut last night, Dec. 9, coincidently or not on a Tuesday, to perform his smash single "Tuesday." Accompanied by The Roots but not Drake, iLoveMakonnen crooned through the Grammy-nominated single with his unique, slightly raspy delivery for the audience on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." ILoveMakonnen gets into the Christmas spirit by wearing a Santa hat for his performance and bathing the stage in red light, via "Complex."The performance comes on the heels of the announcement that "Tuesday" was nominated for Best Rap Performance alongside Drake in their remix of "Tuesday." The Atlanta singer/rapper is now 25 and has been tabbed by many publications as an artist to watch out for following his EP "I Love Makonnen.""Tuesday" has inspired other remixes, including an unofficial one from "Mr. Steal Your Girl" Trey Songz and Chris Brown. It has become a club smash, notably on Tuesdays, and another song that has become a pop-culture phrase. While the track may actually speak to the struggle that many may face working graveyard shifts on the weekend just to make ends meet, "Tuesday" has also come to represent the everyday partygoers who hit the clubs every night. -
Cam'ron Emojis Are Here: U Mad?
It is not enough to just be a regular person who exists in real life. The next step to be as ubiquitous as possible and permeate as many facets of life is to become an emoji. Lil B has his own app where you can send the most basic messages possible, including multiple ways to ask your friends and acquaintances for money. Now Cam'ron has been blessed with his own collection of emojis, including the iconic "U Mad" moment. Cam'ron has already become a popular meme with this moment trolling Bill O'Reilly, so the next logical step was to become an emoji and expand on his repertoire, via "Pitchfork."You can download all 20 emojis through the Hi-Art iOS and Android apps, though you will need to update to iOS 8 for Apple users, which the author is holding out on doing with his 4S. Earlier this year, Hi-Art released Ghostface Killa emojis, with some popular selections including "C.R.E.A.M." spelled out in dollar bills. Nothing says I love you like a Cam'ron emoji wearing a surgical mask. -
Diddy Reportedly Fought Drake Over '0 to 100/The Catch Up' Beat

According to unnamed sources, the two got into it over Drake's song "0 to 100/The Catch Up" because Diddy says the beat was also given to him. The track "0 to 100/The Catch Up" was nominated for two Grammys this year in Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. The source details that Boi-1da had given Drake and Diddy the song to use, but Diddy sat on the song while Drake was eager to use the beat and record it, so he did it on his own and apparently this made Puff angry. -

Cole takes a more minimalistic approach to his video: Instead of bringing out nice cars and scantily dressed women, he kept with the down-to-earth and grounded theme of the album that focuses on family and his childhood, via "Complex."Cole keeps the personal theme of the album and the track in the video, rapping in front of grainy projections of home movies taken at his childhood home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, at 2014 Forest Hills Drive. It remains minimal with a small lighting fixture standing in for a chorus before Cole returns to his projector background of abstract imagery, similar to an iTunes visualizer. The first verse from "Apparently" hits home right away with Cole's theme of family and the home he grew up in: -

Kaskade, otherwise known as Ryan Raddon, has released the music video for his latest single, "A Little More," featuring a pair of Scandinavians -- producer / DJ John Dahlbäck and Finnish singer Sansa. The video finds a lone vacationer who believes he is on his way to his beloved Hawaii (as evidenced by the touristy "I Love Hawaii" shirt) ends up somewhere very, very far away from the warm and easy-going Hawaii islands. Instead his flight takes him to a cold place where people do not respond to his many "Alohas" and his attire of Hawaiian shirts and shorts leave him grossly under equipped for the weather. -

Have Chief Keef and Migos Squashed Their Beef?
It would appear that the year-long beef between Chief Keef's GBE crew and Migos has been put to bed. An Instagram picture posted late last night, Dec. 8, was of him and Migos together and seemingly in good spirits. The duo have been trading jabs online through music and in real life for the better part of a year now, so it is good to see what was becoming an explosive beef is now apparently settled, via radio.com.In addition to the Chief Keef Instagram post, Migos posted the same picture on their Twitter account with the simple caption "Miglo." "Miglo" mashes together "Migos" and "Glory" from GBE, which stands for "Glory Boys Entertainment." This seems pretty definitive that they are putting past differences behind them and trying to move forward.Miglo pic.twitter.com/wn2nn6tifT — MIGOS™ (@MigosATL) December 9, 2014Even more proof of reconciliation comes from GBE member Tadoe, also featured in the other pic, who posted on his Instagram a different picture then that of Chief Keef and Migos. It is in the same place as the previous picture and shows the group members, including Migos later on in the night, still in good spirits and plenty of party supplies on hand. -
Lorde Admits She Likes to 'Trawl the Inorganics'
One of the biggest teen stars in the world, Lorde is about as recognizable as any major musician worldwide. At 18, however, she is barely out of high school and still in the prime of her youth. With that youth comes some odd tendencies that one might expect from a teenager regardless of whether or not they are in the spotlight 24/7. In an interview with "Stella" — the British newspaper "The Telegraph's" weekly edition — the "Royals" star reveals that she likes to go sifting through other people's trash for useful items. The interview also goes on to discuss "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" and her first time in contact with Jennifer Lawrence, who on the set "totally fanned out" when she saw Lorde. She also discusses how she handles her image as a teenage girl pop star and why she eschews the red carpet, but the most interesting caveat is how she takes part in a New Zealand recycling/reuse initiative where each year everyone clears out old junk they are no longer using, like cabinets, cloths, TVs, etc., and puts them out on the street for others to take.It is then shipped off to a landfill, but before that people go through other people's trash and potentially find their own treasures. One of those individuals trawling the trash is Lorde.Lorde describes her passion for going out on the hunt:"See, I'm boring because my favorite thing to do is trawl the inorganics. Do you have inorganics here?" -

Resident Advisor Releases Top 100 DJs Poll; The Anti-DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll

In a very different twist of events, Resident Advisor, a standard for underground dance music, has its own opinion on which the top DJs in the world are. In light of the recent grand jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri, and Staten Island not to indict two white police officers for the killings of two black men, protests have erupted across the United States and sporadically around the world. The issue of police brutality and mistreatment of minorities vs. whites by law enforcement is at the forefront of the nation's conscious. While some commentators have steered the commentary toward black-on-black crime and the violence in poor urban neighborhoods, New Orleans native Jay Electronica wholeheartedly disagrees with this notion, saying among other things in a series of tweets that "We live in a criminal nation, founded by rapists, mass murderers and robbers. So don't tell me about 'black on black' crime."Read the expletive-laden series of tweets below, via "Pigeons and Planes." -
