RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced a new set of tour dates this fall in the United States and Australia. The tour will be in support of their new single "You Were Right" and an upcoming, still untitled, sophomore album. The group will head back to their home country in October, just as the temperatures will start to heat up in the Southern Hemisphere for some Spring shows in major cities such as Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. -
Eric Prydz 'Pryda 10' EP Vol. II Released Ahead Of Album [LISTEN]

One of the world's biggest sports stars and soccer's best players, Cristiano Ronaldo is launching a new line of headphones with Monster. As a global icon and brand, the Real Madrid forward has announced he is the co-founder of a new consumer electronics company ROC Live Life Loud that will use his name to market the new Monster created products. To launch the campaign, the Portuguese National filmed a stunt where he sported a heavy disguise in Madrid and performed ball tricks with random strangers. -

Deadmau5 continued his trolling ways last night at the DOTA 2 International Championships. He was tabbed for a surprise 20-minute performance for the thousands of gaming faithful who had gathered at Key Arena in Seattle and millions more watching online. It all seemed to be going great as deadmau5 played some of his bigger tunes and remixes found on '5 Years Of Mau5' and then he decided to cap off the set with a hard cut to Avicii "Levels," a track that has become the symbol of the modern commercial EDM era that Zimmerman hates so much and then ran off the stage into the locker rooms. -

In a private meeting with 10 journalists at his Minneapolis studio on Saturday night, Prince discussed some of the hot topics on his mind in the music industry. No phones or recording devices where allowed in the studio at all, so only a few quotes managed to escape from the event, but the one that has stuck out the most was Prince's advice to young artists looking to grow. He urges them to not seek out a record contract, but instead stay independent and free because "record contracts are just like - I'm gonna say the word - slavery." "I would tell any young artist... don't sign," Prince continued. He also took the time to defend Jay Z & TIDAL, who he has just signed a deal with. -

SFX, Beatport Apologize For Suspending Label Royalty Payments
Beatport and its parent company SFX have apologized for suspending royalty payments to labels and rights holders from money earned on the website. In a memo sent out to rights holders and labels, SFX Chairman and CEO Robert F.X. Sillerman said he was "deeply embarrassed" about what happened and promised to have payments processed next week. -
Kaskade Announces New Album 'Automatic," Shares "Call My Name"
Kaskade, born Ryan Raddon, has announced the title to his new artist album due out on Warner Brothers Music later this fall, titled Automatic. To celebrate the announcement, the "Eyes" DJ has shared a track from the sessions held to create the album, but the tune titled "Call My Name" did not make the cut. Raddon is releasing "Call My Name" as a free download as a thank you to his fans who have been so supportive of his album and his music over the years. 2 Shot After J. Cole, Big Sean Concert At PNC Bank Arts Center
Last night New Jersey was treated to special night of hip-hop with J. Cole and Big Sean bringing their 2014 Forest Hills Drive joint tour with special guests YG, Jeremih and Bas, Cozz and Omen. Reports about the actual concert at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel were positive, but the night ended in violence for a few individuals outside of the venue. According to police reports, at least two people were shot after the show. -
Jack U Brings Out Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz, CL, AlunaGeorge at Hard Summer Concert
Last night Hard Summer, Hard Events' biggest festival on land, came to a close with about 60,000 in attendance at the Fairplex in Ponoma, California. The superduo of Skrillex and Diplo, better known as Jack Ü closed out the festival on the main stage and made the most of the opportunity. The pair are known to bring out special guests from time to time - as we saw with their performance at Ultra Music Festival - and they may have topped it all last night.
