50 Cent Reaches Out To Floyd Mayweather Following Earl Hayes’ Death, Calls Boxer His "Little Brother" Despite Past Beefs
50 Cent's friendship with Floyd Mayweather goes back more than a decade. Things started going downhill in 2012 after their joint promotions company The Money Team tore them apart - Mayweather backed out of it and left Fiddy with a $2 million loss. They had appeared to have patched things up until this summer when 50 bullied Mayweather on Instagram by challenging him to read a page from Harry Potter without messing it up, and there have been a few back-and-forth comments since then. While Fiddy might not have the best relationship right now with Mayweather, he still reached out to him following the tragic murder-suicide that Mayweather was a reported witness to. -
Label Splits Far More Intense Than Current Lil Wayne Drama: Dr. Dre and Death Row, The Game and G-Unit and More
Depending on how much faith you put in social media, it seems Lil Wayne is hellbent to get away from Cash Money Records due to the label allegedly refusing to release his Tha Carter V. Depending on how much faith you put in statements from management, it seems that Weezy won't be jumping ship. We're more inclined to believe the latter...after all, Cash Money kind of owns Wayne's personal label Young Money. Regardless, there have been uglier splits than this is the history of hip-hop. Here are a few of the most dramatic: -

Listen To Eminem Freestyle On Baruch College Solo Vibes Radio in 1997 [LISTEN]
It has been nearly 20 years since 1997. There was a lot going on as the calendar ticked towards the new millennium. In 1997 Mike Tyson famously bit off Evander Holyfield's ear, Princes Diana was killed and the price of a movie ticket was about $4.50. It was also right when Eminem's career was first taking off, in between his debut album Infinite and the critically acclaimed follow-up The Slim Shady LP. 1997 was also the year he went on Baruch College's Solo Vibes Radio Show and delivered an on-air freestyle session with A.L. (All Lyrics). -

Shady Records to Drop a 66-Track Mixtape After 'Shady XV' Disc, Will Include Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse, 50 Cent [LISTEN]
It looks like Eminem and his crew are going all-out for the 15th anniversary of Shady Records. They've already been promoting a two-CD compilation, "Shady XV," which hits retailers Nov. 24. Now it sounds like the rest of the tracks they couldn't fit on "Shady XV" will be included on a massive mixtape featuring 66 songs."You guys gave me 130 records," DJ Whoo Kid said on RapRadar, speaking about Shady's co-founder, Paul Rosenberg. "Physically, you can't fit all of them on 80-minute CDs, so we had to do a double disc."The project, which has yet to be titled, will run a whopping three hours. As MTV News notes, it sounds like the mixtape will be all old stuff."Just as a fan, you go back and you listen to some of the posse records, and the freestyles, and the remixes, crazy shit," Rosenberg said. "I forgot about all that stuff. And going back and listening to it, it brings back memories. So we did a two-CD thing."We figured since there's so many people that are gonna be saying, 'Ah, why didn't this song make it [on the album]? Why didn't that song make it?' We'll just do something to please everybody."Some artists to look out for include Em, Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse and 50 Cent. Rosenberg did not reveal a tracklist, but he did revisit "I Get Money (Remix)" and Slim Shady's version of "Wanksta."
