Jay Z, Diddy & Dr. Dre Top Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings List: Who Rounds Out Top 5?
Forbes has unveiled its cash kings list for the richest men in hip-hop and the numbers continue to grow at a remarkable rate. Dr. Dre clocked in as the wealthiest man in the genre last year when word began to spread about the sale of Beats to Apple for a whopping $3.2 billion. That number was later revised down to $3 billion and he went on to declare he was hip-hop's first billionaire. However, with his 25% stake in the company and after taxes, he "only" accrued a $500 million windfall. That left the door open for a rise in revenue from 2014's second place artist, Diddy, who has risen to the number one spot in the 2015 hip-hop cash kings list. Jay Z, 50 Cent and Cash Money's Birdman round out the rest of the list. -

50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather End Beef Ahead Of Pacquiao Fight; Rapper Calls Boxer "My Brother" [PHOTO]
50 Cent's friendship with Floyd Mayweather goes back more than a decade. Things started going downhill in 2012 after their joint promotions company The Money Team tore them apart - Mayweather backed out of it and left Fiddy with a $2 million loss. They had appeared to have patched things up until last summer when 50 bullied Mayweather on Instagram by challenging him to read a page from Harry Potter without messing it up. Mayweather fired back, calling the rapper irrelevant. After a few more back-and-forth comments, Fiddy ultimately reached out to Mayweather after one of the boxer's friends passed away in a murder-suicide, and it now appears they have patched things up for good ahead of Mayweather's May 2 fight against Manny Pacquiao. -

Billboard Hot 100 vs. Official Charts Company by Decade: Madonna, 50 Cent, Mark Ronson and 40 Years of No. 1s
Few people realize just how different the music across the pond is from that we listen to in America, that the Hot 100 doesn't exist in the UK, and that its equivalent to our singles chart doesn't just feature a whole bunch of American artists with even more One Direction and Ellie Goulding tracks. Music Times is looking back at the last five decades of music, and at the no. 1 hits on April 2 every ten years on the spot, going back to 1975. The ultimate contest, of course, is which country has better taste. Last month the win went to the UK in the best-of-five showdown. This month features Madonna, 50 Cent, Mark Ronson and more in the field. -

5 Acts Who Have Landed Three Hot 100 Hits at One Time: The Beatles, Ariana Grande and A Disco Icon
Rapper 50 Cent set a new high during 2005 when he became the first rapper to have three songs in the Top 5 of the Hot 100 at one time. We're not going to hold everybody to that standard, as only one band in history has ever landed three songs of its own in the Top 5 at the same time. In fact, 50 Cent's accomplishment was aided in that one of those songs featured him as a guest on a Game single. Fitty's accomplishment was still impressive, but he's never managed to get even three of his own songs into the Top 10 of the Hot 100 at the same time. Only five acts have, without relying on guest spots in other performers' songs.
